In the television show “The Rachel Zoe Project” which airs on Bravo (Tuesday nights at 10/9pm central), it follows the life of celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe. If you love fashion, celebrities, and some drama, then this might be the show for you.
Nylon Magazine recently named her as one of the “It Girls” to watch out for. You may recognize her face from magazines, fashion shows, or even Cobrasnake. At just 24 years of age, this Brit is already making headlines across the globe.
Why exactly is Alexa Chung famous you ask? Aside from being a former fashion model, she’s currently a tv presenter and was a co-host of the British show Popworld. While on the show, she conducted an interview with Panic at the Disco’s lead singer, and in the middle of the interview corrected his grammar causing him to get upset. The clip was on YouTube and had received about 10,000 comments from angry American fans of the band.

Final weekend for the end of season sale at one of my favorite stores {ie, also known as Illustrated Example. I myself will definitely be checking this out for some of the Surface to Air gear along with some Corpus and possibly Porter stuff as well, as I am looking for a bag. This store is definitely a favorite amongst Vacouverites and I have to say the dudes at the store are always mad chill and helpful, not pretentious at all as some stores can be at times.
So if you’re in the Gastown area in Vancouver then swing on by and check this sale out.
Just in time for the 80th anniversary of Andy Warhol’s birthday (August 6, 1928), Bond No. 9 proudly introduces the third in its series of Warhol eaux de parfum. Its name, Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue, recalls the artist’s formative pre-Pop years in 1950s New York, when he lived in the first of several apartments on Lexington Avenue and plied his trade as a prolific illustrator—mainly of imaginative shoes. Hence the Warhol-designed mélange of exclamation-point heels and high-button boots that covers the flacon. If you haven’t had the opportunity to smell a Bond No. 9 fragrance then you are definitely missing out. I, myself own the New Harrlem while I know AJK rocks the Wallstreet. Check out the full shot of the bottle after the jump.
Alright so it seems the whole innanet is abuzz with this Calvin Klein ad featuring Eva Mendes for Obsession. Honestly I don’t see the big deal, maybe it’s cus I’m Canadian and we’re a lot more liberal about some of this shit, but all you see is a bit of nipple and that’s pretty much about it. She’s covered, somewhat, for the rest of the 30 second spot. From an advertising standpoint I have to say this spot is actually quite beautiful with the whole 50s/60s grainy black and white film. Anyways have a look for yourself and let us know what your thoughts are, I guess we should mention that this may be NSFW depending on where you work.
Like most girls, I use makeup on a daily basis. For years I have been trying to find the perfect makeup products, and I think I have finally found some that I truly love. If you are makeup obssessed like me, then this post will definitely be beneficial for you.
Diorshow Blackout Waterproof mascara ($24) works wonders! Not only does it lengthen your eyelashes, but it thickens them at the same time. Plus, this mascara is waterproof which is always a nice bonus.
Who knew wrists were such fertile growing ground? Designer Chloe did, apparently. She’s offering up this ultra feminine wrist cuff, decorated with a dainty poppy. Made with gold metal enamel and crystal, the cuff’s darker stone colour makes this a year round accessory. I really love the use of metal to create a flower for the wrist, instead of going the typical fabric route.
