I am loving lace up boots right now, in fact I’ve been in love with them for the past couple of months. I still need to buy a pair for myself, just not sure which ones I adore the most. This style of boot can be worn with almost anything and instantly gives your outfit some edge. Here are my top 5 favorites…

Jeffrey Campbell, $150 at Urban Outfitters

Forever21, $28.80

Repetto, on sale for $188 at Oak

Urban Outfitters, $88

Frye, on sale for $249.99 at Urban Outfitters

The several occassions that I’ve posted about Vans were always from the Syndicate or Vault line. Here is a pair of Prizz High’s that belong in neither category. I absolutely love the combination of curdoroy and velcro straps on a high top silhouette. Although I’m not big on the rubber toebox, it does blends well with the rest of the sneaker. As a web exclusive, these can be copped at Urban Outfitters.

When it’s constantly cold and wet outside and your flats have been through some serious wear and tear - not to mention your feet - it’s time to pack away those cute spring/summer flats and invest in a sturdy pair of boots. A pair of boots that will keep your feet cozy and dry. A pair that will go well with almost any outfit. And most importantly, a pair that will last you the entire season. So with that in mind, I present you this week’s Too Hot Not to Cop item: the equestrian leather boot.
Once belonging only to girls that rode ponies, the equestrian leather boot has made its way onto city sidewalks as a sensible yet stylish staple in every fashionista’s shoes closet. The no-nonsense black leather and low, sturdy heel is not only a perfect match to your worn-in pair of jeans and fall jacket but also just as cute with a pair of tights and a ruffly dress. Without a doubt, the equestrian leather boot is the go-to shoe for most occasions, especially those on rainy days.
This particular equestrian leather boot comes out tops on my list because not only is it a smart-looking shoe, but it also comes with a rather smart price tag as well. At a sale price of only $99.99 (original $125) at Urban Outfitters, the leather is surprisingly buttery soft and the stitching is detailed and authentic. Reinforcements at both the toe and the heel keep this shoe from falling apart before March rolls along. So hurry over to UO before these boots sell out and you’re left out in the cold, looking ridiculous in a pair of white canvas flats.

In the spirit of back to school, this week’s Too Hot Not to Cop item is a prim and proper oxford. These Made by Elves 1920 Oxfords are the perfect way to add a dash of sophistication to any fall look. Made of leather with a wooden sole, this shoe features cutout detailing and a laced front.
I’m lovin the details surrounding each of the cutouts. They remind me of shoes I’d wear as a little girl. The wooden sole also adds a little vintage charm. These shoes would look great with a pair of black opaque tights thrown on underneath for contrast, and you could rock them next summer with colorful ankle socks too.
At $49.99 (reg. $68.00) at Urban Outfitters, these shoes might be the cheapest, yet most stylish, investment you make all fall.

Go shopping, save Darfur. Well, at least if you purchase this T-shirt from Urban Outfitters. Do so and $5 goes directly to savedarfur.org, a humanitarian organization that spreads the word about what is happening in Darfur and raises money for action projects. So, you get a pretty sweet T-shirt, designed by Public Library, and you get to feel good, not guilty, about buying it.

With all this hot and sunny weather lately, I’ve been looking for some cute new swimwear for the summer. I was perusing Urban Outfitters online, and I came across this super cute, retro-style swimsuit. It’s so Sailor Moon meets British Airways flight attendant! I love it!
It’s made by Lux, exclusively for Urban, and sold online only. However, you’re going to have to fork over $98 for this one-piece, which I think is a bit of a rip. I picked up a retro swimsuit at a thrift store last summer for mere pennies. Mind you, I am slightly afraid I’ll be diagnosed with a case of crabs sometime soon.
