URB Magazine, Taste, W.A.R., Good People and Commonwealth DC are pleased to annouce the Inaugural Party & Fancy Tie Affair at the Space on Sunday, January 18, 2009.  Pharoahe Monch will give on a live performance to celebrate the inauguration of President Barack Obama. 

A special opening performance by Sim City and DJs Stereo Faith and Stimulus will be providing the beats. 

Commonwealth DC and URB Magazine will be providing giveaways as well. Last call has been extended to 4 AM during Inauguration Week.  Come out and celebrate Obama’s historical journey to the White House!

This Monday December 22nd, Keys N Krates will be performing live at the Hotel on Rivington Lounge, 105 Riv. This is an URB magazine event, but you can RSVP to urb.com/events, to get in and hear the sounds of this dope live remix band. Also at the DJing at the event are DJ’s Stimulus & Moma. This event will no doubt be packed, so make you kids arrive early.

That’s right. Our beloved Canadians,  Keys N Krates are playing their first American date tonight – and will be doing so at a party hosted by URB Magazine for the 2008 CMJ Music Marathon and Film Festival nonetheless.

The show will be going down @ Nublu on Ave C between 4th and 5th st in the East Village and is being put on by Taste NYC and Good Peoples – some of the city’s premier promoters for new music.
