For this week’s Mixtape Monday, I found the above gem from Paul Tao’s site, Hate Something Beautiful.  The Devil Made Me Do It is a duo from United Kingdom that classify their work as “melodramatic pop music”.  The tracklist features fan favorites such as reworks of M.I.A., Madonna , Lykke Li and of course Hercules and Love Affair.  But what really caught my ears is Q Lazzarus’s hit, Goodbye Horses.  Some may instantly recall the song from The Silence of the Lambs.  Although I’m sure no one wants to recall the imagery when this track played in the movie Aside from that, the only other time I’ve heard Ms. Lazzarus’s track was from Mishka x Math Head’s “I Like Your Poetry, But I Hate Your Poems Volume 1.”

Coming up next week is the Coachella music festival, which takes place out in Cali between April 25 - 27. AJK has been trying to convince me that we should head down to this, still currently mulling over whether or not I can take the time off work to go down to this. Recently added to the lineup is PRINCE!!! Man there’s no doubt in my mind this is going to be a great festival, so should you be lucky enough to be out in the California area, most definitely you need to check this out. There’s no doubt that Ray-Ban Wayfarers will be seen on all the cool club kids this spring/summer. But if you want to be ahead of the curve and you have a weakness for ice-cream colors, try on a pair of Super sunglasses instead!

Supers are similarly shaped to Wayfarers, but lose the silver studs on either side and come in an assortment of fresh colors and designs. The European kids are already all over these, so follow in the footsteps of Uffie and St. Vincent’s Annie Clark, and slip on some Supers!
