By now, you all should know I am quite a fanboy of the Glass. These dudes just know how to orchestrate a a bangin’ mixtape. And conveniently, the above flier states that the Glass will be from Berlin on a three city tour starting at Santo’s Party House. Speaking of the venue, Santo’s Party House has definitely caught my eyes with key players like Rich Medina, Q-tip, Jesse Tittsworth, Dave Nada and Stretch Armstrong

Back in April, I came across a mix that Discobelle had featured by The Glass. Much like the last mix, the first track really sets the mood. Club Feet’s ‘Teenage Suicide’ sorta reminds me of a track that The Teenagers or Bent would produce. On a different note, the Jewelz remix of ‘This Boys in Love’ serves as a consolation prize for the Preset’s cancellation this weekend.
I gotta thank our resident, Carlos aka DJ Hostility at Modern on Thursdays for turning me onto Discobelle. Considering I frequent Missingtoof, Big Stereo and Kidz by Colette, its only natural to add Discobelle to the rotation. For this week I have selected a mixtape executed by an NYC duo, the Glass.
