Of all the Black Friday sales coming up, I decided to make mention to SURU first. My pick of course is as methodical as Dwayne from Whats Happening!! picking football teams based off of how fancy the helmet looks. I simply liked how the flier looks. That and I gotta give Neran some kinda love for being a member of the Killahbeez fam. But realistically speaking, 50% is a big deal, so take advantage of the sale if you’re nearby SURU.

First off I would like to thank Killah Beez for allowing me to blog on the site. This past Saturday we connected with Axis to do his first solo art show at SURU presented by Rose’s Cocktail Infusions. All in all the event was a huge success. The first pictures of the art work are from our friendly neighbor The Reez over at The Glutonny, and the rest of the photos are from SURU. Hope everyone enjoys Axis’s work, and just a friendly reminder if you are at work, or have kiddies around you, some of the pictures are NWS.

Thanks to our homeboy
Neran (
Agenda) for hooking us up with this event information.
On November 15th, we will be with the artist AXIS who is part of CBS, one of the largest graffiti crews within Los Angeles. With age he has began to move towards canvas rather than walls. He has very deep roots in skating and music. Each of those influences are easy to spot in his work. Suru was chosen as the spot to launch his first solo exhibition. Axis has been approached for the last three years to do solo shows and has declined all. This show will be unlike any other at Suru, the front of the store will be an exhibit open to the public, but the back will be VIP only, and strictly enforced. Axis has close relationships with noteable musicians, actors and artists. Axis has done work for Ozzy Osbourne, Madonna, Mr. T, and Stan Lee just to name a few.
If your in the Los Angeles area, stop by Suru to preview artwork by Axis. Suru is a retail store co-owned by Joe Hanh (Linkin Park), you might even catch a glimpse of LP there!
