Clae launched in 2001 and in 2003 won an award for “Best Men’s Footwear Collection”. As you can see their style is more a hybrid that has the comfort of a sneaker with classic footwear styling. Back after a three-year hiatus, California-based Clae’s just released their Spring ‘08 line, all from the brain of streetwear legend Sung Choi, who pioneered counteracting overprinted hoodies with underprinted sneakers.
