The video for the first Crystal Method single is “Drown In The Now”, which features vocals from Matisyahu. The video is done in sort of an animation style, similar to that of the film Sin City, directed by the team at UVPHactory.

Their album will be releasing on May 12th and features collaborations with Matisyahu, Peter Hook (Joy Division, New Order), Samantha Maloney (Hole, Peaches), Jason Lytle (Grandaddy), Emily Haines (Metric), Meiko, Justin Warfield and LMFAO.

I honestly don’t remember how I came across Cinematical, nor this comic strip redeux of Peanuts.  But I love the unofficial collabo efforts of combining Sin City and Peanuts!   It appears the Miller Sin City-esque Linus dropped the thumb sucking habit and Charlie Brown has been taking Muscle Milk.  Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to dig up if there are any follow up strips, but did find other work by the artist, ninjaink.  Enjoy.

A bit over a year ago, we learned that Smallville’s Kristin Kreuk will take on the role as Chun Li.  Recently, a Japanese trailer to the movie has been uploaded on Youtube.  From a first glance, I was able to recognize Robin Shou from Mortal Kombat and Michael Clarke Duncan from Sin City and the Green Mile.  But a quick IMDB search, Taboo from B.E.P. is revealed to play Vega.  Although, video game to silver screen translations aren’t always top flight, this should be fun to watch regardless.
