How fuckin’ gangsta is this? The Pinkie Nail Ring by Bijules NYC is made of high polish brass and rolls in at $156… Not too big of a price to pay to increase your bad-assness by 10-fold.
The Pinkie Nail Ring is part of the Serpensive collection, which features serpentine-inspired bling including cobra handcuffs, body armor, eye chains, and full-on three-fingered nail rings, if covering just your pinkie ain’t enough.
Jules Kim is the brains behind Bijules NYC, and her designs have already won the hearts of M.I.A., Santogold, Rihanna, Peaches, and Janet Jackson, to name a few.
Latest video from Santogold has been released and it’s for the song “Lights Out”. The video shoot looks quite simple as it features Santogold draped up in various patterned clothing with the background changing throughout. Interesting concept. Anyways video is directed by Kim Gehrig.
Also “Lights Out” and an exclusive remix of this song is used to promote Bud Light Lime and is available as a free download from the beer’s official site here.
This Mixtape Monday we’re bringing you the recently released Santogold and Diplo mixtape project called Top Ranking. I personally haven’t had a chance to listen to this yet, but I have heard from numerous sources that this mixtape project is fire and will have you head bobbin’ all day long. The folks over at Pitchfork rated this mixtape and gave it an 8 out of 10, pretty impressive if you ask me.
What it comparatively lacks in rapid-fire thrills, though, it makes up for in generosity. Clocking in at 75 minutes, this is a plentiful set from a DJ who’s clearly got ideas and records to spare. As long as he keeps delivering mixes like these, all that other peripheral stuff should be inconsequential. - Pitchfork

Anyone who knows me well knows that I have a tendency to gravitate towards anything gold, so when I saw this pair of kicks, I knew I HAD to have them!
The Womens Freestyle Hi-Gold by Reebok comes with classic Reebok stylings, like hook-and-loop straps, multicolored stripes on the collar and contrasting laces. I’m just lovin’ the contrast of pink and gold - so girly yet so fierce!
These kicks were first spotted on the feet of D. Woods of Danity Kane when she was leaving MTV Studios back in April. And this past weekend, Santogold rocked them on the Central Park Summer Stage for the Mad Fools in the Park concert.
Bit a minute since I’ve hit you all with some new tracks. So here goes. First up is a new track from Santogold featuring M.I.A., I know there’s been a lot of comparisons between the two, but honestly folks I don’t see it nor do I hear it. Just cus Rolling Stone says they’re the same don’t mean they are. Next is a track from Swizz Beatz, an interesting sample on this song, give it a listen and you’ll know what I mean. Third track is a new joint by the Mixtape Messiah himself, Chamillionaire and the fourth is a new remix by The Hood Internet, whom we had the chance to interview and can be seen here, between Dizzee Rascal and Cut Copy, very interesting indeed. Last but not least is something for the ladies, well kinda cus Freeway thugs this track up quite a bit. It’s the remix for Robin Thicke’s single “Magic”.
Santogold Ft. M.I.A. & Gorilla Zoe “Get It Up” (Prod. by Radioclit)
Swizz Beatz “That Oprah”
Chamillionaire “Put On”
ABX “Strangerole (Windskool)” (Dizzee Rascal vs Cut Copy)
New video from the Converse x N.E.R.D. x Santogold x Julian Casablancas collaboration, which we previously posted about back in June. This was a campaign that was done as part of the Converse’s Century celebration. The song will be promoted, in part through Converse print, outdoor and online advertising tagged Three Artists, One Song. The advertising features the three artists as well as a range of emerging musical talent from across the globe, including MGMT, Bradford Cox of Deerhunter and Atlas Sound, YACHT, Kid Sister, Eleanor Friedberger of the Fiery Furnaces, Frank Carter of Gallows
New N.E.R.D. album, Seeing Sounds, officially dropping in stores tomorrow. The first track here is called “Lazer Guns” and word on the street is that this is only on the UK version of the album. The next track is a collab between Converse, N.E.R.D., Santogold and Julian Casablancas. The three artists have created a new song called “My Drive Thru”, which will be distributed exclusively for free on converse.com as of today.
It’s been a long time, I shouldn’t have left you..without a post to reflect to.
