New video from Q-Tip for the single “Move” off of the upcoming album, The Renaissance. The video is directed by Rik Cordero who also did Nas’s “Be A N****r” Too”. The video has an old school grainy feel to it, very similar to Snoop Dogg’s video for “Sensual Seduction”, minus all the women. I definitely have to say that I’ve liked every track that I’ve heard so far from this upcoming album.
Wow. Here’s a new powerful viral music video for Nas’s song “Sly Fox”, which basically focuses on the whole controversy of Nas being invited to perform at Virginia Tech and Bill O’Reilly (yes the guy that was hit with a sexual harassment suit), the bitch ass cock blocker, discrediting Nas and the University. Bill O’Reilly put Nas on blast by calling him a “Gangster Rapper”, c’mon son, Nas ain’t no “Gangsta Rapper”, pretty fuckin’ far from it. Anyways after the disappointing “Hero” video, things seem to be back on track visually for the album. Video directed by Rik Cordero, who actually also did Nas’s first video for this album “Be A Ni*ger Too”. Cameos in this video include Miss Info and Jay Smooth, both are well known radio personalities and internet bloggers. Anybody else notice the guy in the black shirt hitting the keys on the keyboard with his middle finger, symbolism?
First video off of Nas’ upcoming album Untitled. Song is called “Be A Nig*er Too” and the video is directed by the busy Rik Cordero. Look carefully for the celebrity cameos in this video, there’s quite a few of them. Images in the video are quite powerful, but that falls in line with the lyrics. Let us know what you think of the video.
The Roots new video featuring RnB songstress Chrisette Michele and Wale. Song is called “Rising Up” off of the upcoming album Rising Down which is scheduled to drop April 29th. Video directed by Rik Cordero.
New video from The Roots for the single “Birthday Girl”. The video features porn star Sasha Grey. Video is shot by Rik Cordero who has been busy as of late doing videos for The Roots, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Consequence and Ghostface to name a few. This song “Birthday Girl” won’t actually be appearing on the album as of right now.
A few days ago we dropped this track from The Roots, post can be seen here, well here’s the video now. Directed by Rik Cordero, this dude is gettin’ straight busy as he also just directed Snoops last video which we posted about a few days ago as well which can be seen here.
New video from Snoop Dogg called “Neva Have 2 Worry” off of the album Ego Trippin, which drops March 11th. Directed by Rik Cordero, www.three21media.com. This track is hella hard and I love the freestyles in the beginning.
