Riding off of ateks’ previous post, here’s the Kanye West American Music Awards speech that everybody has been telling me to check out. The “I want to be Elivs” speech, which actually didn’t turn out corny but was very well put. My only question on the whole video is, what the fuck is Nickleback doing presenting the award???
Gucci has officially launched the Tattoo Heart Collection today. Twenty-five percent of proceeds, starting today throughout January 31, 2009 will be donated to UNICEF. As I reported earlier in the month, Rihanna was chosen as the spokesmodel for the campaign. To view the entire collection, visit Gucci’s online boutique here.
The collection offers wallets, handbags, shoes to scarves. If your feeling overly generous this holiday season and not in a financial crisis, cop these limited editions items before they sell out!
Since 2004, Gucci has partnered with UNICEF to raise awareness in countries affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. This holiday season, Gucci has launched a special all-white bag from the Tattoo Heart Collection. You may have seen the ads featuring Rihanna all over the internet a few days ago.
.
From November 19, 2008 through January 31, 2009, 25% of sales from the new collection will be donated to UNICEF’s programs in Malawi and Mozambique.
For the 2008 campaign, Gucci is pleased to announce the launch of the white TATTOO HEART COLLECTION, together with a landmark advertising campaign devoted to the UNICEF partnership. New video from Canada’s own Kardinal Offishall for the song “Numba 1 (Tide Is High)”, which also features the beautiful Keri Hilson. The video is directed by Gil Green who also directed Lil’ Wayne’s “Lollipop”, Young Jeezy’s “Put On” and Kardi’s first video from this album “Dangerous”. The song is a cover version of The Paragons’ 1967 reggae song “The Tide Is High”. The version that appears on Kardi’s album Not 4 Sale is the latest version of the “Tide Is High”, which only features Rihanna.

How fuckin’ gangsta is this? The Pinkie Nail Ring by Bijules NYC is made of high polish brass and rolls in at $156… Not too big of a price to pay to increase your bad-assness by 10-fold.
The Pinkie Nail Ring is part of the Serpensive collection, which features serpentine-inspired bling including cobra handcuffs, body armor, eye chains, and full-on three-fingered nail rings, if covering just your pinkie ain’t enough.
Jules Kim is the brains behind Bijules NYC, and her designs have already won the hearts of M.I.A., Santogold, Rihanna, Peaches, and Janet Jackson, to name a few.
This is Nas’s second video for the album Untitled, the first being “Be a Nig*er Too“ which we posted awhile back. The second video, “Hero”, features RnB songstress Keri Hilson singing the hook. The video is directed by Taj, past work includes LL Cool J’s “Rockin’ Wit Da GOAT” and Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop The Music” amongst others. The new album, Nas’s 9th studio album, will be in stores on July 15th. Off course the album has been leaked all over the internet and a recent video of Nas, shows that he actually supports the leak of the album, but nonetheless peoples should head out and cop this on July 15th.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………Oh my bad. I was busy drooling. New Mariah Carey single and video called “I’ll Be lovin U Long Time” featuring T.I. The video was shot in Hawaii by Chris Applebaum, whose done videos for Mary J Blige, Rihanna, Britney Spears amongst others.
New video for Maroon 5 “If I Never See Your Face Again” featuring Rihanna off of the album It Won’t Be Soon Before Long. Personally I liked their first album better, but this latest one is still pretty good and shows quite a bit of growth from the first one.
