A great no-fuss number every woman should have in her closet is the T-shirt dress. The basic style can be thrown over leggings for the girl on the go, and yet is versatile enough to be belted or adorned with statement jewelry for a more trendy look.
Paper Tiger makes a great T-shirt dress that is color blocked using five vibrant shades. The T-shirt dress features a semi-detached band detail on one side of the hem and a wide neck opening. I’m just loving the colors on this dress. It definitely looks like something Yelle would rock with a pair of metallic silver leggings and Reeboks. If you’re leaning towards a more classic look, slip the dress on top of a pair of black leggings and slouchy boots for the winter.
The great thing about a piece like this is that it’s versatile enough to keep at the front of your closet for the entire year. And at a sale price of $78 on Pixie Market, this T-shirt dress is definitely too hot not to cop!
If you’re still bawling over Hasbro officially shuttin’ down Scrabulous last week, buck up, son, because Hasbro has teamed up with Reebok to create a line of shoes that celebrate Monopoly!
The collabo is to coincide with the release of a new Monopoly game, Here & Now: The World Edition, and styles will be available in men’s, women’s and children’s. The first design, which pays tribute to the ever-familiar Monopoly playing board, is set to roll out later this month and will range from $40-$85.
A second style will be available around November and will feature the famous trinkets used in the game (houses, hotels, chance, etc.). Those kicks will be priced around $40-$80.
“We have a strong fan-following for Monopoly, and now, consumers can wear what they play in high style,” said Bryony Bouyer, senior vice president of licensing at Hasbro. “The game of Monopoly transcends all age groups and we are excited to join with Reebok to create a footwear collection that will do the same.”
Anyone who knows me well knows that I have a tendency to gravitate towards anything gold, so when I saw this pair of kicks, I knew I HAD to have them!
The Womens Freestyle Hi-Gold by Reebok comes with classic Reebok stylings, like hook-and-loop straps, multicolored stripes on the collar and contrasting laces. I’m just lovin’ the contrast of pink and gold - so girly yet so fierce!
These kicks were first spotted on the feet of D. Woods of Danity Kane when she was leaving MTV Studios back in April. And this past weekend, Santogold rocked them on the Central Park Summer Stage for the Mad Fools in the Park concert.
