Tons of new music from a variety of genres. First up is The Faint, which Angela hooked up, the song is called “The Geeks Were Right” and is remixed by DIOYY, this song is very hot. Up next are two rappers I haven’t heard from in a minute, Rhymefest and Freeway, both releasing new tracks this week. Some new tunes for your ears. New Nina Sky featuring Rick Ross. Definitely been waiting for a minute to hear something from these ladies. Next up is a rough recording of a Common track featuring Pharrell called “Gladiator”. The song actually sounds pretty dope even in the rough format. The “Lollipop” remix from Alan Astor is pretty crazy as well, it’s a more upbeat electro feel to it.
I have to say The Clipse are probably one of my favourite groups in hiphop. Their lyrical prowess is just crazy at times. Now with that said, I’m not sure I actually love this song, I’m use to the more edgier beats and rhymes. The rhymes are on point, but the beat not so much. Let us know what you think about it. This is the lead-off single for the the album The Re-Up Gang coming out August 5th.
First off, fuck yeah the Giants won son. Ain’t nobody believed, but yo AJK and I had so much faith we put our money where our mouth was and it paid off. Great game by the Giants Defense to keep them in it the whole time.
Alright so with that out the way, here’s the long-awaited mixtape by The Clipse and the Re-up Gang and hosted by Dj Drama, officially called We Got It For Cheap Vol.3. If you haven’t heard Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 then do yourself a favor and go and find that shit. Those two mixtapes were hot and from what I’ve heard so far on the Vol.3 this shit ain’t no joke either.
