Both Dave and I agree this is Shepard’s best print for 2009 (our own opinion of course). Coming from a slight hint of Burmese in our blood, we got a lot of love for Shepard’s latest work. But for me personally, I’m in love with Shepard’s revisit to the same colorway as the ‘Peace Goddess‘. [...]
As reported from Van, OBEY teamed up with Levi’s for a capsule collection. The capsule collection includes eight pieces, two pairs of denim, two denim jackets, a flannel shirt and three tees, with a price point between $34.50 to $148. A special poster was released along with a live installation by Shepard Fairey in Times Square Levi’s flagship store last night.
In recent news, Shepard Fairey’s Obey brand has teamed up with Levi’s on a small capsule collection. As you can see in the gallery below, the collection consists of a flannel woven shirt, two pairs of denim in the 511 and 514 models, two jean jackets, and a few t-shirts. Shepard lends his touch on [...]
By “OBEY Me Please” I mean, OBEY, if you’re reading this, feel free to send me all of the t-shirts and tops I have featured here because I love them.
Loving how OBEY’s latest t-shirts and tops are mostly in blacks, whites, and grays: colours that go with everything. Not only that, the prints they used, [...]
hepard Fairey will have a second solo retrospective, the Shepard Fairey: Supply and Demand Exhibition, at The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, PA on October 17th. The exhibition will run through January 21, 2010 to celebrate the artist’s work during the last two decades. Here’s a sneak peek at OBEY’s Holiday 2009 collection. I’m really impressed with how OBEY is expanding their clothing lines and where they’re taking them. There’s lots of great looks, all very in tune with the latest hipster fashion trends.
Big fan of the bomber jacket featured above left and the striped shirt/sweater underneath looks promising.

My latest obsession is a by invite-only shopping community for those of us that love streetwear. Imagine having access to brands like ALIFE, Mishka, Dunderdon, WESC, etc at a deep discount . The only catch is the offer is good for one day and/or until quantity has run out. Which on the norm, I’ve missed [...]
Obey’s Summer 2009 women’s line is flirty and sexy in a southwestern, boyish way.
Southwestern patterned halters, jewel tone skirts, babydoll dresses with native inspired necklines, triangle patterned tanks, faded skinny jeans, graphic tees, and short shorts. All fashionably appropriate for summer.
Obey’s summer 2009 men’s line features their signature graphic tees along with a collection of simple shirts and shorts, good for any casual occasion. The tees are lightweight and perfect for summer.
They’ve also brought two new shirt styles into the mix as well as a collaboration with artist James Callahan: founder of Nowhere Skateboards
Back in March, Shepard Fairey and the Obey crew placed Obey Giant posters outside of Home Slice Pizza in Austin, TX. Fairey also placed installations around other parts of Austin, including Lance Armstrong’s Bike Shop: Mellow Johnny’s. The video features a live footage of the installation at Home Slice Pizza during the South by Southwest music festival.
