It’s everybody’s favourite time of the year, where calendars get shot and dropped, especially when they’re stacked with beautiful neked women shot by one of my favourite photographers Ellen Stagg. Lily Allen recently was announced GQ’s Woman of The Year, GQ UK that is, and appeared on the cover of this months issue. In addition to the cover there’s a full interview and photo shoot accompanying that. The photographer for the shoot was Simon Emmett, whose shot quite a few covers for GQ UK and is a fairly well known portrait photographer. In the the shoot Lily Allen does go topless, so if you’re viewing this at work then beware.

The new issue of Purple is pretty magnificent, first there was that Terry Richardson shoot and now here’s an editorial of Milla Jovovich by photographer Mario Sorrenti, which makes it even more interesting because they were once a couple. In the interview Milla is asked about this as well as her modeling and acting career, her thoughts on the fashion industry and a whole load of stuff, it’s a pretty lengthy interview that’s worth reading if you’re a fan of Milla. Here’s a very not-safe-for-work photoshoot done by one of my favorite photographers Terry Richardson for Purple Fall / Winter 2009. The models that appear in the shoot are Eniko Mihalik, Magdalena Frackowiak, Freja Beha Erichsen and Abby Lee Kershaw all 4 appear in umm…slightly risque shots, but hey I still give this shoot two thumbs up, but if you’re the sensitive type don’t say I didn’t warn ya.

On newsstands now is the September issue of V Magazine, which features Kate Moss on the cover. For the photoshoot, Kate Moss is seen channeling her inner gypsy, well chic gypsy look. The photographer for the shoot was Iain McKell. This months issue is special as it has three different covers, one featuring Kate Moss, one for Linda Evangelista and the third cover features Lady GaGa.

Starting August 20th and running to August 30th, Zach Hyman’s latest photographic series called “Decent Exposures” will be available for viewing at the Chair and The Maiden in New York. This past June, Zach planned a variety of shoots in public places, the twist? The female models were all nude. They would pose for 30 seconds and he would photograph them with his Hasselblad 500 film camera. The shoots took place on a subway, chinatown, Times Square and a variety of other places.

Here’s a hilarious ad that I came across on one of my buddies Facebook page. It’s a banned Sprite commercial that was intended for the German audience. I saw the one and decided to do a little searching and found another one, both are pretty hilarious.

Topman will be releasing an interesting line of suites that will be available this Fall. The suit dubbed, Neon Suits for Work or NSFW, are available in “five bold shades of magenta, bright turquoise, eggplant, royal blue or lime green”. “Sure they may not fit in at every office, but our models felt right at home when they test-drove the goods. The vivid suits aren’t for everyone, but we certainly can’t wait to see the brave fellows who rock them come fall.”

Is it Christmas or some shit? First Mary-Louise Parker and now Lily Allen. I don’t care what nobody says, I have a mild kindergarten crush on this girl. She’s appearing on the cover of i-D Magazine’s August issue and in addition to being on the cover, she’s also posing nude inside as well as dressed in a…panda bear outfit? Fuck it, I’ll go with it, still cute.

Here’s a clip from Ben Hoffman reporting on the upcoming changes in the porn industry, in particular 3D porn coming to a screen near you. He actually is on set during a 3d shoot for a movie called Her First Lesbian Sex. In the clip he interviews directors, actresses and porn enthusiasts to get their take on the new technology.

Supermodel, Agyness Deyn graces the cover of 032c magazine this month. Just one thing though, it appears she forgot her clothes. I ain’t complaining, she looks great in these shots, which were taken by photographer Alasdair McLellan. Earlier this month our own aTek posted Massimo Gammacurta’s photos of iconic fashion labels made into lollipops, as seen here. Well here’s something on the complete flip side of that. This series of photos, known as “Sex In The City”, is unique yet provocative and sexy. The story is told through various designer sunglasses acting as if they were x-ray glasses, revealing images of sexual activity in public city setting.

Tom Ford has introduced his Spring and Summer 2009 line of clothing and accessories and to coincide with that drop, the line has also launched the Spring and Summer ad campaigns, which features  Jon Kortajarena and Karen Elson. I was only able to find one shot of Karen Elson, but still stunning to say the least. While these shots are still sexy, they’re nothing like the previous year when Terry Richardson shot for Tom Ford and came up with some pretty shock invoking images, but definitely a great campaign (see below for one of the shots NSFW).
