The Air Zoom Verona has become one of my favorite SB silhouettes. The most recent release comes in a grey colorway and also features waterproof upper. Aside from the brown accents, what stands out is the imprinted Nike swoosh on the tongue. I’m glad to see Nike SB is stepping away from the elephant/cracked cement look for a bit. Look for these Air Zoom Veronas to arrive at your local SB account really soon.

Just yesterday a fellow sneaker head and I were discussing how much we love black/grey/yellow as a colorway combination. In her case, she gave mention to a pair of Nike SB’s and a recent pair of Half Cab where the sneaker is mostly black with yellow perforated leather heel. My personal favorites happen to be the Uptown Supremes in black/grey/zest and a pair of Air Max 360/95 hybrids. These “Bumblebee” Air Force 180’s will have to be added to that list of favorite sneakers in black/grey/yellow. The amount of varsity maize gives a good balance to the otherwise overwhelming black durabuck leather. The satin tongue also adds a touch of class. No word was given on a release date, but I’m glad the Air Force 180’s are once again retroed.

Coming in May are some new fitteds from Nike SB. What’s subtle are the contrasting eyelets in the above picture. The overworked elephant/cement print has been laid to rest. Instead this fitted is dressed with a P-Rod all over monogram pattern. Look for them in the next month at your nearby SB account.

Here are the latest AT2’s in haze, tweed and university blue. Sure we have Supreme to thank for their reintroduction of these sneakers. But now that the AT2’s are a part of the SB family, they are easily obtainable without the hassle of “camping out”. I’m also delighted the colorway this time around reminds me of the Evolution Pack that came out slightly over two years ago. The Haze Tweed AT2’s are set to release next month at your local SB account. That means Palace5ive and Elite for you DCists. Meanwhile, make the leap for additional photos.

“On the 21st July 2006, SBTG collaborated with Nike SB to produce an asian exclusive Dunk Lo Premium that was queued overnight for and sold out on the first day in every of its strictly allocated cities. Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Tokyo, Australia and New Zealand.
On the day itself of its first launch which was in Singapore, the shoe prices soared slightly less than $500usd on ebay and is maintaining at a high of $300usd and above average till now. The shoes never landed on the soils of the American or European continents. Not even on resale stores or online stores.”
