The Nike Air Max Current has easily become my favorite pair of daily sneakers. Recently, this seamless pair were unveiled first at RIOTTT. Nike has released quite a few one piece sneakers with the Air Force 1 and Dunk’s silhoutte in the past. And now, we see the same technology applied to the Air Max 90 Currents. The sneaker is pretty barebone with just a black and white colorway. Fortunately there is perforated suede to give it a bit of character. There’s no word on a release, but I wouldn’t be surprised if more colorways become available shortly after.

The Air Force 1 has and continues to be a great platform for a lot of the hybrids released to date. The above mids pay homage to the Baltoros which debuted in the ACG line back in 89. Not all materials have carried over to these mids, but the colorway remains true. In my opinion, the best feature has got to be the magenta round laces. Look for these Forces will be released on October 4th with a Supreme version to follow.

Nort/Recon is having another seasonal sale starting today. Here is another great opportunity to stock up on some quickstrikes, tees, fitteds and Fall wear if you’re nearby SOHO. And as the flier states, the 50% sale applies to everything in the store. Don’t sleep on this one.

With the success of the first Air Zoom Verona, comes a second round. The elephant/crack cement print was retained from the June 2007 model. The change this time around involves swapping out leather upper for canvas. Also visible is the swap out of the white outersole with a gum sole. This new Air Zoom Verona should be a fan favorite among sneakerheads. I’m looking forward to trying them on at eithere Elite or Palace5ive in a few weeks.

These Air Classic BW’s are the latest pairs of Nikes to pay homage to the Negro Leagues. At a first glance, I was quick to compare them to the first colorway of the Foot Patrol AM90’s. Without a doubt, those are my all time favorite 90s. Going back on topic with these Air Classic BW’s, the colorway combination is what captivates me. The only significance to the pack is the sockliner. These are set to release some time in September. Though appropriate for the season, there is never a wrong time to wear earth toned Nikes.

The white colorway with gum sole already has me sold on these forces. And with a pattern deriving from perforated leather, these are a no brainer cop. For some, it may seem a bit too clean and not drastic enough. But that’s how I’ve always preferred my sneakers. They should be out now at most Nike accounts. Best bet is to hit up Premium Goods, Goliath or Classic Kicks. For those that prefer to shop online, Pickyourshoes has them as well.

Harlem’s finest is having another annual BBQ and sneaker sale going on. I’ve only been fortunate enough to make it out to a t-shirt sale. Walking out with ten shirts and spending only roughly under a bill is a great feeling. Getting fed at the same time while you cop them Bird’s Nest Forces or Vans Syndicates is a whole new level of rewarding your senses.

These are yet another pair of JD Sports Air Maxes to weep over. My guess is that Atmos will be one of the few US retailers to carry them. The question is when they will hit the shelves. With the laser blue/black/grey throwback colorway, these will probably fly off shelves in no time. For the time being, Size? is an online retailer that carries them.
