Ummmm …. I had to put these out there because I feel like this is kind of a perfect example of what you should never put your feet through. Talk about much too much - these Miu Miu sequined pumps are likely to blind unsuspecting passersby. But hey, they would definitely be a conversation starter. Or stopper. And you’d be the only one at the party wearing them. Just don’t wear them with orange.

I don’t know what it is, but lately, I’ve been obsessing about the colour purple. Purple bags, purple belts, purple patent shoes. I’m not even purple’s biggest fan. But purple is looking really hot this season and it’s showing up in a big way, especially in accessories like this Miu Miu leather hobo handbag. The designers call it aubergine, but it’s purple. Purple.

I’ve done the work, so you ladies don’t have to. I’ve picked my top 10 favourite shoes for spring, drawing from the most current trends and modern classics. You’ve got the patent leather slingbacks, with zebra stripes no less, by Celine, and the fantastic patent wedges with crisscross straps by Kors by Michael Kors. Check out the Miu Miu metallic gladiator sandals, the perfect mix of the gladiator/boho, and the nude leather effect wedges, which highlight the natural wood style. I’ve thrown in some asymmetric peep toe pumps in blue patent, inspired by the 80s by Chloe (love them) and some red leather Miu Miu red leather sandals with the cross over ankle strap. And, for the sporty set and casual Fridays, there is the Asics Norico, the newest addition to the Onitsuka Tiger women’s collection. Also, I’ve thrown in a pair of Ultimate Tigers, a perfect blend of function and fashion. Lastly, there is the Puma Lo Rainbow Flava neon sneak, and the motorsport inspired Puma Espera.  Get shopping. Vibrant purses are perfect for spring. Miu Miu’sred nappa leather tote
is totally hot and has a finish I’m seeing more of. I love the
crinkled, broken leather look finished off with a shiny sheen. I
spotted a similar style tote in a hot yellow/orange colour, but it is
the finish I’m loving.
