Swimsuits are no longer limited to tacky beach scenes and Hawaiian print. No, this season’s suits are far more art and graphic design heavy, and I’m loving it. Stripes, squiggles, crazy patters, wild colour combos, anything goes. And don’t limit yourself to the ubiquitous triangle bikini. The bandeau is hot hot hot right now. Plus, one pieces in bold colours are classics. I’ve gathered examples of the top six styles for your viewing pleasure. Above is the falling stars pattern from Emilio Pucci. He mixes an old school shape with a crazy pattern. After the jump there is a one piece turquoise bandeau style from Chloe, along with an art print two piece. I’ve picked a JG4B starlight bandeau bikini because of it’s out there pattern. Another thing I’m seeing lots of is the bandeau style with the circular gather in front, so check that out from Milly.
