Musiq Soulchild dropping a new video for the single “IFULeave”, which features Mary J. Blige. The video is directed by Sanji, the man responsible for the dope ass Pharcyde video “Passin’ Me By”, he’s also worked with artists such as Johnny Gill, Tony! Toni! Tone!, Esthero, and Lauryn Hill to name a few artists. Staying true to form all his song titles on the upcoming album are multiple words fused into one, as is the case with this song. The album, On My Radio (his fifth major studio album), is currently scheduled to be released on December 9th. The album will feature guests Common, Chrisette Michele, Kanye West, Shawty Lo, 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks.
A couple of new tracks here, while the rest are remixes that I thought were dope or interesting enough to post up on the site. First up is Diddy, okay so by now you’ve probably heard T.I.’s “Swagger Like Us”, well, Diddy took it a step further and did a track called “Swagger Like Puff”. The thing is the brotha comes off hard on this track, opening the track up by saying “Ayo P gimme my gun”. Huh, Diddy, I know you were cleared of gun charges, but not a good look to bring in a line like that. Next is Lady Gaga, all I’ve heard about this girl is that she’s huge in Canada, #1 hit, knocked off Katy Perry’s joint, please don’t judge our country based on the music charts. Anyways she shows love to Canada by enlisting Kardinal Offishall to spice the track up and I have to say I quite like it, definitely can say my homegirl Moore would love this track too. Via Missing Toof are two electro tracks, first being Heartsrevolution with their thumping track “Switchblade” and next is a remix of The Ting Tings “Shut Up and Let Me Go” remixed by LAZRtag, about 20 - 25 seconds into the track I was sold.

Coldplay has premiered the official music video for the single “Viva La Vida” from their new album Viva La Vida. The video is directed by very well known video director Hype Williams. Hype Williams has directed videos for Wu-Tang Clan, Mary J. Blige, The Notorious B.I.G and many other artists. In addition to releasing the official video for “Viva La Vida”, they also released the alternate version of the video, which can be seen after the jump.
New video from Big Boi, one half of Outkast, featuring Mary J. Blige with a cameo from Dj Drama in the intro and for the tech nerds a Nokia E71 also makes an appearance. The single is off of the upcoming album Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, no released date announced yet, but should be out sometime soon.Video is directed by Bryan Barber, who has also worked with G-Unit, Kanye West, numerous Outkast videos and a video that my company could’ve sponsored but took a pass on for no apparent good reason, oh yeah thats right, we don’t like exposure…FAAAAAK! Anyways that said video is “International Players Anthem” by UGK and Outkast. Yes I was pissed.
The video is talking about the current situation in the United States and is calling for people to make a change by voting this November for Obama.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………Oh my bad. I was busy drooling. New Mariah Carey single and video called “I’ll Be lovin U Long Time” featuring T.I. The video was shot in Hawaii by Chris Applebaum, whose done videos for Mary J Blige, Rihanna, Britney Spears amongst others.
Happy Valentine’s day folks. Even though this is just some fabricated holiday created by Hallmark. Anyways to celebrate the occasion I’ve decided to throw a shout out to the Queen of RnB, Mary J Blige. The album, My Life, the song, “I Love You”. When I first heard this song back in ‘94 I was a young pup but I still felt the soul of this song blast right through me, the keys that were sampled for this song just makes it that much soulful. I can remember making a mixtape for the shorty I was with at the time and this was the first song on that very tape. Classic love joint for sure. Hit the jump below to find out where those keys were sampled from.
