Treasure Fingers, known to work with Kill the Noise, will be playing at Geisha Lounge next Wednesday, June 11, 2008. A huge thanks to Scott and Houston for making this happen. Only on their third party and they’re already bringing in a heavy hitter. Below is a preview of what to expect from Treasure Fingers and a link to the photos from the last two RIPOFF events.

The RIPOFF’s sophomore party may only be a few days away. But one half of THE RIPOFF, Chris Houston, dropped this spring time mixtape for all to download. Mixtapes are a tried and true method of brand marketing and promoting. And everybody loves music. Listen to the Imeem stream below and download it here. As for the party, arrive early. The Ripoff’s new home at the Geisha lounge has premium spacing. See you all there this Wednesday.
Via Kidz by Colette, is an ethereal mixtape by Them Jeans for XLR8R magazine. The multi faceted Them Jeans is a graphic designer, producer and by the sound of this mixtape a damn selector of music! Take a listen for yourself. I started a new habit of applying bold text to tracks I felt that stood out. Lots of replay and rewind went on when I played this in my car.
Several weeks ago I featured Kill the Noise’s mixtape. Not too long after I suggested to a buddy of mine to play their remix of Drugs in My Body at Modern Sunday. Needless to say, that track set off the momentum for Jesse Tittsworth’s slot. Below is the latest KTN remix of Chromeo. We here at Killahbeez love Chromeo. So it was only appropriate to hook it up with a well executed remix.
Missingtoof is one of my havens for hi fi music. The gang took a slight mixtape/singles blogging break for a few weeks. As of last week, they are officially back to feed the addiction. Below is Kill the Noise’s debut mixtape featured on Missingtoof. This is the only mixtape that matters. It even supercedes my anticipation of the Myspace x Justice tour. Check the back side for the track listing. Take notice of the bold type on the few tracks I felt that made this a great mixtape.
