It’s been quite some time since I snuck into the forums to find what new Dunny customs exists. SneakSneak, whom I’ve featured on here before, has a new set of 3 inch customs. Labeled, “Vertiginous Whispers”, this set like all of his art work is simply amazing. Not having kept up with the forum, I’m also delighted to see you can order custom work via his site. Hit him up here if these Dunnys wow you.

The above pin striped fitteds is a collabo between Benny Gold and Transworld Magazine. Two fitteds were created. One to represent Benny Gold’s hometown of San Francisco and the other to represent Transworld’s home in San Diego. In case you didn’t know, the current Brain Floss project is like a series of Kidrobot Dunnys. Six artists were commissioned to customize a 59fifty to their liking. If you’re like me, you’ve got two questions. One being, where in the world is a transworld retailer to get the Benny Gold one? And two, who will be featured is the next Brain Floss drop?

Towards the middle of month, its like a scheduled task that I venture off to the Kidrobot forum. For the month of June, two releases piqued my interest. First we have French graf artist, Mist’s 3 inch series labeled Debilz. The collection consists of 11 pieces plus a chase figure. Next, we have the fourth installment of the DIY Munnys. Color ways once again include white, black and glow in the dark. But the random accessories are what sets the 4th series apart. This time around, you could score a toupee, cape or goatee on your DIY Munny. The Mist 3 inch series figures will be released on June 12th at $7.95 each. And the DIY Munny will be available the week after for $24.95. With the new accessories, I may finally give into customizing my own Munny. Make the leap to see Munny Series 4.

The AM90 x Talaria’s came to mind when I saw these. Except, these AM90’s aren’t hybrids of any sort. The varsity blue and safety orange colorway is official. Even better, the mudguard is a recipient of a pattern from street artist, Jon Burgerman. No release date was provided, but I’m anxious to see them in person. For now, make the jump for more pics.

Above is the work of artist, Daeo. What you’re viewing is a teaser shot of the Mini Munny platform outfitted with the TMNT theme. Those that frequent the Kidrobot message board may remember his earlier Teenage Mutant Ninja Dunny project. Sadly, I slept on those. This time around, I clicked the “notify me when a reply is posted” button. More pics on en route. Soon hopefully.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve checked the Kidrobot message board for slick customs. Above is a gargoyle inspired mini munny conveniently named, “Goyle”. The craftsmanship by Tom Holmes definitely has raised some eyebrows and inquiries for commissions. At 3 inches tall, this the perfect custom to display on a window sill or even nearby a plant pot. Currently, Goyle is residing at a shop in the UK called GO GO Plastic.

Here is a custom newspaper Munny project by an artist named Eric. This piece really piques my interest since the artist opted out of using super sculpey, marker or paint. The aforementioned are now considered standard tools in customizing vinyl art. Eric may be quite busy to do commissions, but I’d like one myself.

My toy collecting has gone down a notch, but my art print collecting have ramped up. This is one reason why. Aaron Martin aka Angry Woebots is a genius. How often do you see a panda not being lethargic and/or snacking on bamboo? I actually came across Angry Woebot’s work several months ago on the kidrobot forum when he had a show @ KRSF. His Dunny customs were a bit out of my price range. But knowing that he offers affordable art prints is a relief. Limited to 50 signed pieces and at a rate of $60 dollars, these will go fast. This print will drop on next Tuesday at 3pm EST.
