Rihanna
Rihanna receives my number one pick based on her appearance on the red carpet and off the red carpet. She places a lot of emphasis on accessories, which makes her outfit stand out on the red carpet. She can pull off any look, from 5 inch stilettos to dunks when she’s chillen with Chris Breezy. Let’s not forget that she was the influence of the “crop haircut” in 2008.
Chloe Sevigny
Chloe is all about taking fashion risks. She mixes and matches vintage pieces, modern designs and different patterns from head to toe.
Nicole Richie
For her frame and size, she is the shortest in height on my list. And that does not stop her from looking chic on the red carpet. I love Nicole’s style because it’s comfortable and casual. She is often seen wearing fitted bottoms to show off her tiny waist. She has come a long way from being “the other girl next to Paris” and hot red lowlights.
Lindsay Lohan
I don’t care what people say about Lindsay Lohan and her leggings! I love wearing leggings and tights during the winter. It’s neutral and goes with everything. Lindsay’s outfit is put together with leggings, bright accessories and Chanel bags.
Keri Hilson
Keri’s swagger is dope. She can run with the boys and hold her own.
New video from Canada’s own Kardinal Offishall for the song “Numba 1 (Tide Is High)”, which also features the beautiful Keri Hilson. The video is directed by Gil Green who also directed Lil’ Wayne’s “Lollipop”, Young Jeezy’s “Put On” and Kardi’s first video from this album “Dangerous”. The song is a cover version of The Paragons’ 1967 reggae song “The Tide Is High”. The version that appears on Kardi’s album Not 4 Sale is the latest version of the “Tide Is High”, which only features Rihanna.
Some new tracks for all of you to preview and bang. First up we have Keri Hilson’s new track “Slow Dance”, which is produced by The Royal Court (dudes work closely with Timbaland and did the Omarion “Ice Box” track). The track is definitely a nice slow jam to listen to for the ladies or better yet, with the ladies.
We also have three new tracks from T.I., which I’m definitely anticipating the release of the album. “Swagger Like Us”, Killahbeez’s own AJK sent through to me and all we really could say was 1. drums are nice and 2. T.I. lyrically killed it, other than then neither of us are feelin’ the “Paper Planes” sample that Kanye used for this track. Of all the tracks here, “Let My Beat Pound” is my favorite. First video from Keri Hilson off of her upcoming album In A Perfect World…, which is set to come out on September 23rd. This video is for the single “Energy” and is directed by renowned director Melina, who has done videos for Beyonce, Ne-Yo, Kylie Minogue and Snoop Dogg to name a few.
The premise of the video has Keri playing a female boxer that’s going through a relationship with her trainer and things don’t work out so well, but seriously who cares, cus maaaaaaaan she looks hot! Have a look for yourself.
Wow. Here’s a new powerful viral music video for Nas’s song “Sly Fox”, which basically focuses on the whole controversy of Nas being invited to perform at Virginia Tech and Bill O’Reilly (yes the guy that was hit with a sexual harassment suit), the bitch ass cock blocker, discrediting Nas and the University. Bill O’Reilly put Nas on blast by calling him a “Gangster Rapper”, c’mon son, Nas ain’t no “Gangsta Rapper”, pretty fuckin’ far from it. Anyways after the disappointing “Hero” video, things seem to be back on track visually for the album. Video directed by Rik Cordero, who actually also did Nas’s first video for this album “Be A Ni*ger Too”. Cameos in this video include Miss Info and Jay Smooth, both are well known radio personalities and internet bloggers. Anybody else notice the guy in the black shirt hitting the keys on the keyboard with his middle finger, symbolism?
This is Nas’s second video for the album Untitled, the first being “Be a Nig*er Too“ which we posted awhile back. The second video, “Hero”, features RnB songstress Keri Hilson singing the hook. The video is directed by Taj, past work includes LL Cool J’s “Rockin’ Wit Da GOAT” and Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop The Music” amongst others. The new album, Nas’s 9th studio album, will be in stores on July 15th. Off course the album has been leaked all over the internet and a recent video of Nas, shows that he actually supports the leak of the album, but nonetheless peoples should head out and cop this on July 15th.
New video from Usher for his first single, “Love in this Club”, featuring Young Jeezy. Song is produced by Polow Da Don and the video features AJK’s supposed future wife, Keri Hilson. Cameo appearances by Diddy, Kanye West and Rick Ross. Usher’s new album Here I Stand is expected to drop in June.
