It is full-on fall, ladies and gents, so there ain’t no excuse for you to be cruisin’ around outdoors in just a flimsy cotton T-shirt, or at best, your favorite worn-in hoodie. That don’t mean you gotta sacrifice lookin’ fly as hell either. Don’t worry, girls, this week’s edition of Too Hot Not to Cop has got you covered… in the Mercy Blue Blazer by Minimum.
This cornflower blue coat is bound to brighten up even your greyest day while keepin’ you toasty. Made of 70 percent wool and 30 percent poly, this slightly-oversized blazer plays up the “borrowed from your boyfriend” look, while the detailed tailoring and lush fabric keep it lookin’ feminine. The coat features a single-button closure at the front and a slightly longer back, but I think that my favorite thing about this coat has got to be the big lapel that stays high in the back. The wool fabric is also stiff enough so that the collar line doesn’t collapse (big bonus)!
This blazer sits at $255 at Pixie Market, a small price to pay to be the flyest girl on the walk.

With fall just around the corner, it’s time to find the perfect jacket. And since you’ll look a bit ridiculous sweatin’ up a storm while bundled up in your favorite wool winter coat, you’ll want to find a jacket that will provide a sturdy shell while being light and still appropriate to wear on mild days. This Marc by Marc Jacobs Bow Jacket not only fits the ticket, but its perfect blend of mixing old with newer trends will have you lookin’ like the cutest girl on the block.
The jacket is a blue and black nylon, cotton, modal, spandex blend. Bows adorn a wide neckline and the overall shape is a cropped bubble, but a sturdy tweedy blend in a masculine color keeps this jacket from looking too girly and immature. The slanted front pockets also give this jacket more of a sweater/cardigan feel.
This jacket will look great with a pair of jeans and flats. And when the weather gets a bit colder, simply throw a bright, longsleeved knit underneath for a cozy daytime look. The jacket will also pair really nicely with the season’s continuing trend of high-waisted skirts, since the shorter hemline will show off anything you’re wearing underneath.
Even if it weren’t for the price, this Marc by Marc Jacobs jacket would be considered a great investment, as it isn’t too trendy and won’t be out of style by next year. So at a sale price of $201.60 at ShopBop, you’d have to be crazy not to cop this piece up!

I get that it’s still freaking hot out. But fall is coming. And you need to be prepared. So, here are some samples of jackets from Diesel’s Black Gold collection. My personal favourite jacket of the bunch is the one pictured above, the Pengiusi, in chocolate brown leather. I love the asymmetrical zip and slanted pockets. Chocolate brown is going to huge for fall, at least that’s what I’m predicting. After the jump, check out the Amazi, a quilted, brown motorcycle style jacket with rabbit fur. Also after the jump is the Coopes, which comes in black and has a lot of random buttons. Not feeling this one as much, but who doesn’t love options? The whole collection is very motorcycle chic.
