The “Resort Collection” is Gourmet’s latest endeavor for Winter 2008. The collection consists of two sneakers, the Due and the Quattro. The Due comes in full grain calf suede, braided laces, double sided zipper closure and memory foam insoles. The available colorways are black and bone. The Quattro also features braided laces and memory foam insoles. However, the upper comes in full grain tumbled calf nubuck and comes in dark chocolate and black. Being that memory foam is synonymous with comfort, I really can’t wait to try both pairs on at Cmonwealth this December.

Commonwealth is having a HUGE Spring time cleaning sale this weekend all the way through the 18th. If I heard my coworker correctly, he walked out with a pair of uptown supremes for under 50 bills during the last big sale. Don’t sleep! This sale is not just limited to citizens of DC metroland and Norfolk, VA. The sale is applied to the online front as well. This is the perfect time to try on a pair of CLAE’s.

Gourmet has returned for the Spring season. They’ve added eight new styles. The first release is comprised of two new models, the Santo & Diablo. Both feature canvas uppers and takes styling ques from some of the sneakers worlds most easily recognized silhouettes. This season Gourmet explores a brighter palette of colors like Amethyst (Purple), Interblue, Basil, and Scarlet, as well as keeping the more traditional colors like Black and Eggshell on the menu.

Gourmet has been pumping out sneakers with Jordans as the inspiration. The spring and summer collection 2008 collection was all about canvas uppers and white soles. What you see above is the entire fall and winter 2008 collection. Different materials and different colors. Though this pic doesn’t give a good view, I’m confident AJ VIII inspired sneakers will be highly sought after. I can’t wait to see them at Commonwealth.
