Dan McCarthy never ceases to amaze and therefore we at Killahbeez are showing him love for it.  The latest print offering is entitled ‘What Once Was” and has a day and night appeal.  With GID off, the print shows the silhouette of a man observing very a well preserved fossil.  With the lights off and the glow in dark in full effect, a mockup of the plesiosaur is revealed.  A very cool 19″ x 25″ print for $40.  Get yours at DanMcCarthy.org.  I’ll be a bit surprised if this print doesn’t sell out today or tomorrow.

The kid in me is fascinated by =qwux’s This Poster Sucks – Skeleton print.  By day, a generously white spaced print features a gold foiled statement, “This Poster Sucks“.  Meanwhile at night, the glow in the dark ink kicks in and reveals a skeleton with a “Rad” cartoon bubble.  Glow in the dark designer toys has been a common practice for a minute now.  But I’m new to GID posters, so it gets me all excited.  =Qwux has a super limited run of 10 prints with 1 as an artist print and 1 off super limited gold type edition.  The print will go for roughly $45 AUD.

Anyone remember the fearsome Raiden like dudes from Big Trouble in Little China? Well, this poster, which comes in an A and B version, promotes its air-time at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Both prints are glow in the dark, but the variant comes with silver metallic ink. $30 for the blue ink/transparent glow in dark ink and $50 for the silver metallic/glow in dark variant. At the given price, it should be a no brainer pick up. It maybe a spontaneous purchase, but the artwork is fantastic. The run is limited with 50 of the vivid blue/gid colorway and an undisclosed amount on the silver ink variant. So if you want in on this, hurry on down to Mondo Tees.
