I spoke too soon on my last post with the infrared AM90 x Free 3.0 hybrids. According to the info provided on Sneaker News, the flywire technology has performance values on top of its good looks. No date was given, but we’ll keep an eye out. But in the meantime, make the leap to see more indepth pics in both color ways. On a side note, if you own the SSUR Coney Island fitted, these sneakers are a must-have.

This has got to be one of the cleanest pair of AM90 hybrids ever. We’ve seen the One Time Only’s and their succeeding color ways. We’ve seen Air Forces fused with Air Jordan characteristics. Hybrid this and fusion that. Speculations that the theme is getting old can be thrown out the window. These are truly a pleasant surprise. The sneaker retains most of the AM90’s mud guard and most of its upper. What I really love is the marriage of both sneakers mid sole - part Free on the front and part AM90 on the back. A mesh toe box and tongue tag borrowed from the Free make up the rest of the sneaker. Finally, you can’t go wrong with the infrared colorway. These are hybrids are scheduled to drop in Fall 2008.
