The theme for Forever 21’s latest TWIST line is the ballet and as the name states, tutus!

Although a lot of the tutu-esque dresses and skirts are rather short, if worn with opaque tights and the right shoe, the shortness might be passable. A lot of the looks they’ve put together for this line look good on the petite model. In other words, although cute, some of the looks might only look good if you’re petite or a cute little ballerina.

My favourite part of the collection are the little cardigans.

After a successful launch of Faith 21, Forever 21 released Love 21 yesterday to feature contemporary pieces for a sophisticated style. The new line for Forever 21 will cater to fashionistas between the ages of 25-45 by offering a selection of skirts, blouses, tops and dresses in recession proof prices, $19.80 to $24.80. The line is available at select F21 retail stores and will launch at other locations on June 15th.

It’s a fun and flirty line that is fashionably chic and cheap. Below are a few items from Love 21.

As average waist sizes increase each year in the U.S., retailer Forever 21 took advantage of the opportunity to launch Faith 21, a line that offers women apparel in XL, 1X and 2X sizes. The line was launched yesterday, debuting in select Forever 21 stores. The online store was released earlier today. I think its brilliant as we all know that NOT everyone women wears size 0 and size 2 jeans. I’m a firm believer in never spending too much on trends. Take the time to invest in a few quality pieces that have longevity, no matter what the season or year, and head to stores like H&M, Forever 21, Zara, and Urban Outfitters for trendier items that won’t break the bank.

Take these harem pants by Silence & Noise, available at Urban Outfitters. The look that was inspired by MC Hammer himself is back amongst fashionistas. While, when not done right, the pants can look outright goofy, the draping and cut of the pant will work on pretty much all body types. But since nobody predicts that harem pants will have a long run, these pants, priced at just $38, are a perfect fit.

Made of rayon and spandex, these harem pants are ultra soft. The hem is cropped short and extremely tapered, while the rise is higher finished with a comfortable elastic waist.

When wearing harem pants, most ladies should stick to pairing the pants with heels (unless you’re one of the few with legs that go on for miles). A pair of heeled oxfords or a pair of studded wedges would do the trick nicely. As for a top, keep it body-conscious, so you don’t end up looking like a shapeless blob. Tuck your top in and finish the outfit off with a boyfriend blazer for a smart look.

As usual, there are many, many things that I’m dying to buy for this new year. So here’s a peek at just some of the items that I’ve been wanting to have. Of course I won’t be able to get every item on my list, but a girl can dream right?

I love this dress mainly because of the zippers. The hoodie also adds a unique touch making it your not so regular LBD. Of course it doesn’t surprise me that I’m drooling over this item because I adore the label.

Monrow roll v neck tee, $122
What can I say, I’m a sucker when it comes to t-shirts, still. I think a part of me will always love that t-shirt and jeans look, probably because it’s so comfy and so easy to pull off. Now I know this t-shirt is ridiculously over priced, but I love the metallic tiger stripes!

Alexander Wang zipper clutch, on sale $195
That’s right, another item with zippers! This leather clutch is simple and I like the fact that it is a foldover clutch, which only makes it more interesting.

Dolce Vita baxter ankle boot, $195
I have been on a mission for lace up boots for a few months already, and I believe that this pair definitely is my ideal lace up flat boot. If I can’t get these, then hopefully I can find something similar.

Here’s another Elizabeth and James item, an over sized button up shirt that looks like it could belong to your boyfriend. I love over sized shirts, I say the looser the better!

I’m really loving this nude colored nail polish. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my red colored nails, but sometimes you just want something simple and clean, and that’s what the color nude is all about.

Pyramid Facet Ring, $3.80
You can never have too many rings, at least I can’t! What attracts me to this ring is not just the price (thank you Forever 21), but I love the jagged sharp points on the ring. Plus it’s gold, a flashy gold, so your hands will most likely stand out.

BDG pleated knit pull on skirt, $38
This skirt is super cute, love the pleats in it. Not only does it come in this purple color, which is one of my favorites, but it comes in black as well (another favorite color).

I am loving lace up boots right now, in fact I’ve been in love with them for the past couple of months. I still need to buy a pair for myself, just not sure which ones I adore the most.
