The night has been host to many guest Dj’s including ?uestlove, Ali Shaheed, Maseo, Cosmo Baker, Bobbito, etc. And as you can tell by the flyer/cover for the night, the variety of music on this mix is the cream of the crop ranging from Marvin Gaye to Kraftwerk to Nas to Alicia Keys.

Aight I’ve been sittin’ on this one for a few weeks, but finally it’s time for it to shine. As you all know there’s been a ton of remixes for Jay-Z’s American Gangster album and it’s damn near impossible to hear them all. There are some definitely good ones, to see the two that I like the most visit the old post I did awhile back here. So when I saw this I thought, “aaah shit another one”. But this mix is mad fresh. Taking classic hip-hop beats and remixing them to the songs on the American Gangster album. I definitely gotta give it up to Vancouver Djs’ Jay Swing and Flipout for coming correct on this.
