The latest offering from Nike are two pairs of Dunks adorned with premium leather, suede, perforated leather and canvas. Dubbed the Winter Animal pack, the black and white pair are called the “Huskie” and the all white pair, the “Polar Bear”. From a first glance, the Huskie seem a lot more winter ready in comparison to the Polar Bear. It’s kinda hard to associate white perforated leather and canvas with the cold weather. But regardless both pairs look amazing. Currently, they are available at Corporate and Proper in a full range of sizes.

So Mita will be receiving these Nike Dunk x Medicom collabo in about a week. Three color ways are available in this pack to include purple/yellow, orange/purple and green/white. But all three come with the above orange and white Bearbrick. I love how the Bearbrick is symbolism for Nike boxes. My only wish were for the Bearbricks to be sold separately.

Coming from MSTRPLN and Philly’s sneaker boutique, UBIQ is a pair of Dunks that can detect WIFI hot spots anywhere its owner walks. The sneakers are called, A Step in the Right Direction, or ASRD in short. From a first glance, I thought of the Micropacers and/or the works of Sabatoge. Most, if not all sneaker heads must think I’m crazy for the latter comparison. The reference to SBTG is mainly due to the stealthy facade and militant like emblem. With the ASRD sneakers, owners of the IPOD touch can now get connectivity wherever a hot spot is detected. With no release date or price disclosed, expect to pay a lot of guape. Off topic, another glance made me think of Darth Vader’s gauntlet.
