When I was a lot younger I used to have a slightly unhealthy obsession with the Addams Family. I was Morticia Addams one Halloween. Then, little Wednesday the next. I even asked my dad if I could sleep in a coffin at one point. Creepy, I know.
Anyways, this cute little dress by Aussie label Insight has brought up all these old childhood feelings in me. The whole grey and black-striped baby doll cut totally screams “zombie schoolgirl,” but in a cool way. The sleeves and collar are slightly undone, and the five button closure down the front is adorned with little gold nautical anchors.
Take this dress to the next level by pairing it with a pair of black opaque tights and patent leather mary janes or jazz flats. Top that off with your broken-in black leather jacket and you’re good to go. Just forget about the braids and the ghost face to match.
The Insight Living Dead Dress is currently on sale at Cultist for $39.00. Cop yours HERE.

One of the season’s hottest trends has to be menswear. Wide-leg trousers, penny loafers, suspenders and bowlers hats have never looked hotter. But here at KB, we’re all about taking things up to the next level, and that’s what’s goin’ on with this menswear-inspired double-breasted vest dress by Motel.
The Dianna Dress by Motel fits like your favorite black tank from the shoulders to just under the bust, and the rest of the dress borrows from a men’s grey pinstripe suit. A cinched look at the waist and darts starting at the hips give the dress a more feminine feel, while the 10-buttoned double-breasted front gives the dress structure and intrigue.
This dress would look ultra cool with a pair of bright opaque tights (like magenta or electric blue) and a pair of shiny black jazz flats. And at a stunningly low price of $72 at one of my favorite clothing kartels, Pixie Market, what’s not to like?

So pretty. These were without a doubt the first words that came to mind when I spotted this romantic jewel-toned ruffle dress by Susana Monaco.
With winter coming at us at full force, it’s definitely time to put away those pretty summer dresses, but a dress like this one easily transfers from one season to the next. The light silk material and lack of sleeves keep you cool in the summer, while the cooler teal color keeps this dress appropriate for the fall and winter seasons. Simply throw on a pair of opaque black tights underneath and a pair of sky-high pumps or sleek riding boots to really allow the dress to be the focus of your outfit when it’s cold.
The dress features a five-button closure down the bust, as well as on-seam pockets at the hips. Perhaps the most eye-catching aspect of this dress is the intricate ruffle detail all along the collar. So romantic!
Regularly priced at $286.00 at ShopBop, the Susana Monaco ruffle dress (which also comes in black) is on sale for just $143.00. That’s right. Beautiful silk dress for under $!50. Get ‘em while they’re hot, ladies. You know I got mine.

Want to make a colourful splash? Check out this 100 per cent silk Victoire Faille wrap dress, part of the fall collection, by Diane Von Furstenberg. The woman knows how to make a hot, sexy, fashionable dress. But it’s the colour of this one that really sold me. It’s pretty blinding, but is definitely a pick me up. How can you be in a bad mood in this colour?
