Gourmet “Resort Collection”

Posted on 11 October 2008 by Van

The “Resort Collection” is Gourmet’s latest endeavor for Winter 2008.  The collection consists of two sneakers, the Due and the Quattro.  The Due comes in full grain calf suede, braided laces, double sided zipper closure and memory foam insoles.  The available colorways are black and bone. The Quattro also features braided laces and memory foam insoles.  However, the upper comes in full grain tumbled calf nubuck and comes in dark chocolate and black.  Being that memory foam is synonymous with comfort, I really can’t wait to try both pairs on at Cmonwealth this December.

Spring Cleaning Sale @ Commonwealth

Posted on 06 May 2008 by Van

Commonwealth is having a HUGE Spring time cleaning sale this weekend all the way through the 18th. If I heard my coworker correctly, he walked out with a pair of uptown supremes for under 50 bills during the last big sale. Don’t sleep! This sale is not just limited to citizens of DC metroland and Norfolk, VA. The sale is applied to the online front as well. This is the perfect time to try on a pair of CLAE’s.

Stock Exchange 6.30.07

More and more sneaker events are easing their way into the DC-metro area. And it seems to be at a linear pace with boutiques such as Kickballers, Cmonwealth, Major that have opened shop. I’m quite excited to see an event comparable to the Dunk Exchange. Being that I like vinyl toys and art prints, I’m even more excited this event will feature Bill McMullen. Below is the info as taken from Freshnessmag:
