Bond No. 9 Andy Warhol Lexington Ave

Posted on 06 August 2008 by DT

Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue

Just in time for the 80th anniversary of Andy Warhol’s birthday (August 6, 1928), Bond No. 9 proudly introduces the third in its series of Warhol eaux de parfum.  Its name, Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue, recalls the artist’s formative pre-Pop years in 1950s New York, when he lived in the first of several apartments on Lexington Avenue and plied his trade as a prolific illustrator—mainly of imaginative shoes.  Hence the Warhol-designed mélange of exclamation-point heels and high-button boots that covers the flacon. If you haven’t had the opportunity to smell a Bond No. 9 fragrance then you are definitely missing out. I, myself own the New Harrlem while I know AJK rocks the Wallstreet. Check out the full shot of the bottle after the jump.

Bond No. 9 Sparkles for Mother’s Day

Posted on 23 April 2008 by AJK

As you may already know, I’m a fan of Bond no. 9 products, regularly using the Wall Street fragrance myself and having purchased a bottle of So New York for mom dukes a few months back.

And now, just in the nick of time for mothers day the NYC perfume house has released its special edition pocket-sized (6ml) Swarovski Stars Bon Bons gift set which includes the best-selling Bryant Park, Bleecker Street, Nuits de Noho and Eau de New York fragrances.

In addition, there will also be larger (50ml) Swarovski encrusted bottles released of the first three fragrances mentioned in the paragraph above. For these, I also reccomend buying mom some stunna shades to make the spray application proccess a bit more manageable.

For more see Bond no 9’s website here

And for more info/products from Bond no. 9 in general visit your local Saks Fifth Ave or Konig here in Vancouver.

Bond No. 9 Launches Andy Warhol Union Square

Posted on 13 March 2008 by Mona Alice Oakenfold

Bond No. 9 Andy Warhol Union Square

Spring is almost here, and if you’re looking for a fresh scent that’s both seductive and inspiring, look no further than Bond No. 9’s latest fragrance, Andy Warhol Union Square.

The perfume is part of a 12 perfume series with the Andy Warhol Foundation, and this particular fragrance is inspired by Warhol’s Flowers silkscreens and Union Square itself.

The scent is a blend of masculine and feminine. Fresh florals and blue freesia tones to represent the feminine side, and musk and birch wood to bring out the masculine. The scent comes off clean, while mysterious and sensual. It’s pretty strong, so I would personally wear this at night.

The bottle it comes in is also inspiring: a combination of sculpted glass and psychedelic flowers.

Andy Warhol Union Square will be available starting March 15 at Bond No. 9 boutiques and Saks Fifth Avenue locations across the U.S. It’s pretty pricey at $195 for 100 ml., but it’s definitely a pretty special scent that you’ll be able to wear not just in spring, but through the whole year.
