So early April we posted about the Blackberry 9000, post seen here, well now the 9000 has gotten official and is officially named Blackberry Bold. Announcement was made at WES 2008. Rumor has it that it’ll be dropping sometime this summer on AT&T in the USA and on Rogers in Canada. Personally I don’t mind the way the phone looks just the chrome sides look bad, almost a iPhone imitation. Click on the jump below to see another image.

Recently pictures of the new Blackberry 9000 have surfaced. The phone features an updated interface, WiFi, HSDPA, 2 megapixel camera and updated speed and camera. From the picture above it looks like it’s just as big as the 8800, but as you’ll see in the other pictures, just as thin if not thinner then the 8300. People who know me, know I’m an absolute junkie when it comes to phones, so I’m sure I’ll probably cop one of these when it drops. Rumor is that it’s expected sometime in the summer, we’ll see.
