The AM90 x Talaria’s came to mind when I saw these. Except, these AM90’s aren’t hybrids of any sort. The varsity blue and safety orange colorway is official. Even better, the mudguard is a recipient of a pattern from street artist, Jon Burgerman. No release date was provided, but I’m anxious to see them in person. For now, make the jump for more pics.

The one weekend I don’t stop by Nort/Recon and these drop. I did manage to pick up the black/3m Forces I talked about last time. Premium white leather, navy swoosh and laces keep things clean. But, the addition of the red outer sole and paint splatter brings forth more character. Kix and the City states select Nike Accounts. That doesn’t specify quick strike, urban, etc. But, I wouldn’t doubt Sports Zone, Downtown Locker Room or even Major will be carrying these.

Via Highsnobiety is a very loud pair of 90s dubbed the Carnival Edition. Though I’m not feeling the mosaic pattern on the outer sole, it does flow very well on the mud guard and inner sole. The best feature on this sneaker has to be the flannel patterned laces. No date was given. But I’m sure they’ll drop a local boutique in the near future.
