Barneys teams up with Alife again for another Everybody Mid collabo. This time around, the Everybody High also receives the Barneys treatment, hence the name, Orange Pack. For Fall 2008, orange accents, full grain, perforated and crinkled patent leather are adorned on both sneakers. The mids as you see above, go for $145 and the highs after the jump are only $150. Although, both dreamsicle colorways are better suited for the spring/summer, I wouldn’t sleep on either sneaker. You can cop them at select Barneys retail stores or on their Barneys online.
In addition to the Tweed Everybody mids, the Fall 2008 Alife collection will also consists of these high tops. Over the years, ALIFE has really stepped up the sneaker game with rich materials and textures. Without looking too busy, these Everybody Highs have mesh, suede, premium leather and ripstop nylon. I’d have to say the ripstop tongue, tri colored laces and ankle patch is what sold me. Look for these at Alife stores real soon. Meanwhile, make the leap to the back for more images.
With Nas’s 9th studio album, Untitled, set to drop tomorrow, Alife has teamed up with Nas to put together a t-shirt and lighter pack to celebrate the date. This is mad exclusive as only a 100 packs were produced for sale, unfortunately cats in Vancouver and LA will be missing out as this is only available at the Alife in NYC starting tomorrow.
Alife is aiming at a broader audience this Fall and it starts with these tweed Everybody Mids. Not only can sneakerheads cop these at Alife, Bloomingdales will be carrying them as well. If you’re like me, you can’t stop staring at how simple yet beautiful these Everybody Mids are. A tweed upper, pewter tongue tag and laces. Finally, a finishing touch with the heel tag.
