A bit over a year ago, we learned that Smallville’s Kristin Kreuk will take on the role as Chun Li.  Recently, a Japanese trailer to the movie has been uploaded on Youtube.  From a first glance, I was able to recognize Robin Shou from Mortal Kombat and Michael Clarke Duncan from Sin City and the Green Mile.  But a quick IMDB search, Taboo from B.E.P. is revealed to play Vega.  Although, video game to silver screen translations aren’t always top flight, this should be fun to watch regardless.

Here are some leaked photos of the upcoming Sony Ericsson C510, which is suppose to be the successor of the Sony Ericsson K770. The C510 is scheduled to drop some time in February of 2009 and from these pictures the phone is looking good. Sony Ericsson also brings their A-game when it comes to the esthetics of their phones and I’ve owned quite a few of them in the past, before switching over to my beloved Blackberry.

IGN.com has recently released their “Best of 2008″ for all things encompassing the nerd kingdom and yes I say that with love cus I’m a part of that nerdiness. The best of 08 includes movies, comics, gear, music and of course video games! God Of War 3

I played the third installment on the PSP and was hooked and couldn’t put it down, I’m excited to see this on the PS3 and can’t wait to cop this.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Another favorite of mine in the past year for me and it was a bit of a surprise game. I really didn’t expect much, but the story line and sick game play made the first one a favorite of mine and now with the sequel coming out soon, the wait will almost be over.

Fight Night Round 4

It’s been a minute since I’ve played a Fight Night game by EA Sports, but this trailer looks pretty badass, especially putting Muhammad Ali up against Mike Tyson. If that doesn’t catch fight fans attention I don’t know what will.

Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and The Damned

The first two games above are PS3 exclusives and well here’s an xbox 360 exclusive that PS3 owners aren’t going to see, for now anyways. This is basically an expansion pack for Grand Theft Auto IV and it looks pretty damn cool.

Checking up on Yanko Design, I came across Hyun-A Ko’s Toasting Charger.  Operating much like one, this charger lets you slide in any lithium ion battery (the charger is supposedly similar to an 8 in 1 media reader ) and watch it pop up when done.  Aside from the led toaster indicator, I’m really feeling the graceful styling cue that resembles Jasper Morrison’s Rowenta toaster.  Hopefully, the designer will move forward with production.

Check out this A-M-A-Z-I-N-G game trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy Versus XIII. The CGI for this looks ridiculous and during one clip you can even see the guys veins. This game will be epic and I definitely can’t wait for it to drop as I’ve always been a fan of the series since I was a little kid. Check out the trailer and start saving up for that PS3 if you don’t already have one.

As you may have noticed our site went down sometime during Wednesday and was down for all of Thursday and slowly coming back online again on Friday. What happened you might be wondering? Well, because of all you great people and the growth of the site we had to switch servers and were migrating, well that took a lot longer then expected and there was some heavy finger pointing at the end of the day between our hosting company and registrar. I can honestly say our registrar, ISQ Solutions, sucks, so first off don’t use them as their customer service is by far one of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Our hosting company as so many of you have grown accustom to seeing the “HostIcan Warning”, was awesome all through the time and helped make the process a lot smoother and took the time to help us out where they could, so I would definitely recommend them as a solid hosting company.

Now I’ve heard horror stories about other sites migrating to new servers and never thought that they would really affect us and boy was I wrong. But let’s move beyond that, as we’re back up and running. As you may have notice our postings are a week behind right now as the database didn’t back up everything, all good, cus we’re better off in this situation then the one we were just in. So there’s one thing for sure that will have to be re-run and that’s the Common / Kanye contest as all that info was deleted.

We want to apologize to all of you for not being around, but we also want to thank you for being patient, while we were getting things straightened out on the backend and continue to do so.

I’m going to start out this post by saying I AM A BLACKBERRY ADDICT. There I said it, it lets me keep up with my three different email accounts, the Blackberry messenger is a good way to keep up with friends, and texting is so much easier than trying to text on regular cell phone.

Most of us have seen that Obama has been on his Blackberry most of of the campaign, keeping up with new articles, blogs, speeches etc. I wonder what steps Obama is taking right now to get ready to have his blackberry leave his life. Personally if I had to give up my Blackberry I would take it harder than breaking up with some chick.

Had it not been for the above video, I would’ve been oblivious to Xbox 360’s Lips.  The recently released karaoke party game comes preset with 40 songs with original music videos from Beyonce to Nirvana.  So no unlocking of songs is required.  One feature I like a lot is the ability to plug in your iPod or Zune and sing along to your playlist in the freestyle mode.  Included with the game are two motion-sensing microphones.  This is where the fun begins.  Depending on how you move the mic, it can take on the role of various instruments.  This of course enables your centerstage shy friends to join in on the fun.  Overall, this should be a hot product for holiday 2008.

Those who know me, know me as a tech geek. So the other night I was surfing for a bluetooth headset for my PS3 as I picked up Call of Duty 5 and plan on playing some serious online for, oh I’d say the next year or so. Anyways that’s when I came across this piece from Yubz Talk, as you can see it’s the old school telephone handset updated to work with todays’ technologies. Several versions available, the ones above are a bluetooth version and a version that you plug straight into your phone. I’m actually considering getting the one you plug into the phone, so ill. Ever wish you had all your contacts in one convient spot. Well apparently Soocial is presenting that solution for all of us there allowing us to sync all our contacts from Outlook, Blackberry, cell phones, Gmail and Mac address books. The contact management solution appears to be a free service, but I’m not super positive on that so I’m gonna give it a shot and let you all know what I think. Art meets engineering in this highly limited top dollar Aston Martin.  After seeing the above video with Chief Designer, Mark Reichman, and CEO, Dr. Ulrich Bez discussing the One-77, you may feel mesmerized by the facade and specs of the “Perfect” Aston Martin.  Not sure if I cared for the choice of downtempo music and Transformer-esque sound effects, but this is truly a beautiful piece of automobile history.  Make the leap to see some photos.

I love streetbikes, so when I came across the Ducati Streetfighter, my jaw just hit the ground at the pure sexiness. The bike is stripped to the bare essentials in terms of looks, giving it that raw look yet polished finish. This sweetness packs a 155hp Ducati L-Twin attached to a super-light frame, weighing in at 167kg (368lb). The Ducati Streetfighter is expected to make its debut in Spring 2009. Now to find a way around that pesky nuisance of not having a bike license.

If you’ve never seen a Girl Talk show live, it’s definitely an experience you’ll never forget, although as I said to Michelle when we were at his show “God, there’s a lot of dirty sweaty hipsters her, eh?”, that took a bit of getting used to, but a sick party vibe nonetheless. Though I don’t remember the saran wrap on his laptop, some next level shit right there.
