Threadless has teamed up with Griffin Technology to put together some distinctive iPhone cases. These cases uses Griffin’s existing joints, but they get wrapped with a few original images from Threadless. Last week we posted the preview of the upcoming collab between Parisian graffiti artist André and Incase. Well that collab has fully dropped now and we can view the laptop sleeve and iPhone case in full. This is the fifth installment of Curated by Arkitip and features André’s artwork with a few distinctive screen-printed logo. Incase has dropped a couple of teasers on their site for the upcoming collaboration piece by André for Curated by Arkitip. So far the two pics they’ve released hints at a iPhone 3Gs case as well as a 15″ laptop Sleeve that features André’s signature “Mr.A” stick figure character on the zipper pull. It’ll be interesting to see what the final collection will look like as the iPhone case and the sleeve are completely different and don’t seem to match.

RIM has officially announced that the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is set to be released in November. This phone will lose the dreaded trackball and utilize the optical trackpad, which is a welcomed change. In the US the BlackBerry 9700 will be available on AT&T and T-Mobile, though the two devices will be slightly different as T-Mobile employs a different spectrum for 3G. While in Canada we’ll see it on Rogers, Telus and Bell, yeah that’s right, if you didn’t know Telus and Bell are both launching their new network soon. So Canadians if you want to buy one from the US make sure you get the AT&T version as that’s the one that will be compatible with the 3G network.

Adobe Systems Incorporated has officially launched, Photoshop.com Mobile for iPhone, a Photoshop CS4 app for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch.  The app will allow users to edit photos on their devices and upload photos to share on Adobe’s Photoshop.com. The app is only available in the U.S. at the moment and free to download in the app store. Below is a screenshot taken from Adobe’s website:

I have tested the application and I am pleased with the new photo that I edited on Photoshop. The iPhone receives another brownie point in my book!

These ones in particular will fit the 3G and the 3GS since they’re both the same size, but definitely not the 1st generation joints. Its not often I get excited over a pair of earbuds or headphones in general.  However, Sony Ericsson is releasing a pair of buds that can perform one of several functions depending on your actions.  If both ear buds are in your ears, music plays.  Take one ear bud out, and the music automatically pauses.  This sort of reminds of me how certain car makes lower the volume automatically as you decelerate.  Another feature is when a call is incoming, by popping one earbud in, you’ve begun the answering process.  Pretty cool eh?  However, Sony is a stickler with its proprietary standards.  Therefore, it works only on Sony Ericsson phones.  The MH907s are due to release this week.  Hopefully with its success, we’ll see this technology from other makes of earbuds in the near future.

For the most part, when I think of papercraft, I think of simple to complex DIY art pieces.   Julien Madérou is the genius behind this papercraft dock for the Apple iPhone and/or iPod Touch.  Simple, clean and effective.  Deciding on the stock and color of paper would be the only effort needed in assembling one of these docks.  Make several for your office mates and you’ll be the coolest kid in the cube farm.  Grab the template here.

Now I will be the first to admit that I’ve never liked T-Pain or the noise he makes that he labels as music, BUT, with that said I think this is a pretty damn cool app. Just added to the iPhone App Store is the “I Am T-Pain” app made by Smule. This app basically allows you to sing and sound like T-Pain and…better yet, just watch the video below.

By now this video has already been made several rounds on the internets.  But I can’t help watch over and over how quickly the thieves made out with all that Apple goodness.  In total, 23 MacBook Pro’s, 14 iPhones and 9 iPod Touch were lifted by a team of 5.  What I’m wondering is how the dudes will unload the stolen goods considering they don’t have power cables and boxes.

New for the Fall, Incase has updated their line of popular iPhone slider cases and introduced the Monochrome color scheme. The colors you see above are: Pale Gray, Soft Pink, Jute, Celery Green and Sky Blue, all cases fit the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3Gs. When it comes to mechanical objects in motion and art, leave up to artist Jonathan Schipper to produce something neat. He recently teamed up with fellow artist Amelia Biewald to create a metal plated iPhone case for Exovault. By far, this is the most creative iPhone case I have seen to date.

Ok so its seldom that I ever speak about Mac products.  Simply put, I’m still a PC guy thats hesitant to buy a MacBook or take advantage of my company’s hookup with the iPhone.  But its hard not to take notice of this uber limited Stealth MacBook Pro by Colorware.  Which in my mind reminds me a lot of my favoite paint job on highly tuned European cars.  Dave first introduced me to Colorware when he was on a mission to reskin his Blackberry and his MacBook Pro.  According to my cousin, Colorware is the authority of customizing MacBooks and Blackberrys.  With the super limited 10 unit only Stealth MacBook Pro, I don’t doubt it.  Only catch is this guy costs $8k.  If you have the money to splurge, Colorware may be of service.

HTC has announced their latest phone, HTC Hero and it runs on the Android platform. The phone runs on a 528MHz CPU, 288MB of ram and 512MB of ROM. It rocks a 3.2″ TFT LCD touchscreen display and runs on quad-band GSM and dual-band HSPA. Here’s one thing that makes the phone stand out, besides the design, from say the iPhone is that this supports flash, allowing you to watch YouTube on the go or have a full web surfing experience on the phone. No word on an exact day, but keep it on lock here and we’ll let you all know.
