Here’s the much talked about Beyonce and Lady GaGa collaboration for the song, “Video Phone”, which is on the re-released album, I Am…Sasha Fierce Deluxe Edition, in stores on November 23rd. This track is the extended version and different then the original one that appears on the current album. Video is directed by Hype Willams, so you can expect that highly stylized and glossy feel to the video.

Fuck, this video is weird. Initially I thought it was some fan made joint, but nope, it’s the official video. Neither Kelis nor Crookers make an appearance in the video, but what you do get is some dude in camo with a scoped rifle hunting. The single, “No Security”, is on the forthcoming Crookers album called Tons of Friends.

New video for The Golden Filter’s song “Thunderbird”. “Thunderbird” is directed by the fine folks at Moop Jaw, whom also directed the previous video, “Solid Gold”. This is the second official single, no word on when the full album is going to come out yet. I’ve heard the full album earlier this year and it was pretty good.

Simian Mobile Disco’s (SMD) latest video for the song “Cruel Intentions” which features vocals from Gossip lead singer, Beth Ditto. The video is a strange and dark, kinda fits with the name of the song more or less. At the end of the video it mentions that this music video was taken from a short film called Study after Cruel Intention.

Latest video from Canadian artist K-OS called “I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman”. This song / video features another fellow Canadian artist, Saukrates, which I have to say was one of my favorite artists but I always felt like he never was able to reach his full potential whether it’s the fault of label mishandling and such. I mean honestly “Father Time”, “Hate Runs Deep”, those are classic joints, but I digress. The newest single from K-OS is off of the album YES, which is already released in Canada, but officially hits the US market tomorrow, November 17th.

Video from Kid Sister for her single “Right Hand Hi”, which was directed by Sarah Chatfield (director of “Alfie” video by Lily Allen). The song is on the forthcoming album, Ultraviolet and available in the next wee or so. Not a super huge fan of the song, but I think the video is pretty cool, with the kid painting on the images and Kid Sis rolling through the frames through the painted walls.

One of my favorite tracks for the past month or so, well ever since I received the advanced copy of the Kitsuné compilation, is Two Door Cinema Club’s “I Can Talk”. The compilation features the remix by Moulinex, but my favorite remix is the French Horn Rebellion Remix, which we featured on our Boner Jams Vol. 2 mix. Here’s the official video directed by MEGAFORCE and scheduled for release on November 16th.

Here’s a cool music video from a group called The Spleen. The song didn’t really capture my attention but what did was the way this music video was made. They had 46 fans record a live performance, the 46 fans used a variety of recording devices that they had on had such as an iPhone, Blackberry and some had handycams. The group then took the recordings and had them edited to the video you see below. Quality of the video varies obviously, but still a pretty damn cool concept and a great art project to get all involved.

The official video for Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind” which features Alicia Keys. This is one of the few songs that I actually like off of the Blueprint 3. Every time I hear the chorus line with Alicia Keys, it gives me goose bumps. The video was directed by Hype Williams.

Here’s the official video for one of my favorite remixes, Florence + the Machine’s “You’ve Got the Love” remixed by The xx. The original is dope, but this remix takes this song to a whole other level. Also when was the last time a remix got an official video? I can’t think of one right now. In any case peep the video below, the official single is available November 15th for purchase. Oh and can someone please bring Florence + the Machine to North America for fucks sakes!

Newest video from Fever Ray aka Karin Dreijer-Andersson aka one half of The Knife. This video is her fifth from her debut self-titled side project. All of  her videos thus far have been amazing in visuals, details and telling a story even if it is a bit dark or odd and this one doesn’t disappoint as it is dark but it coincides with the lyrics / mood of the single, “Stranger Than Kindness”. Don’t take our word for it, check the video out below.

On Monday we posted Duck Sauce’s, collaboration between A-Trak & Armand Van Helden, first single / video “aNYway”. We all thought that was it, we should’ve known better cus here’s an alternate version of the video, this one directed by Surface 2 Air and takes on a bit of an interpretation from a famous scene of the film Ghost (Demi Moore & Patrick Swayze), but a lot more sensual, the video ends with explosions of sorts. That’s all I’m sayin. Definitely liked this version better.

Here’s a video for my new favorite song by Miami Horror called “Sometimes”, for those sleeping on Miami Horror, we’ve been talkin’ about or mentioning him since January of this year, so it’s been a minute. Anyways last week my cousin sent me this track and it essentially blew my mind and last night I came across the video. No appearance from Miami Horror himself, as he likes to keep his identity somewhat of a secret.

Stones Throw recording artist Mayer Hawthrone with his latest, “Green Eyed Love”, which is a pretty dope mellow joint, though personally I still prefer the Classixx remix of it, the original is still dope. Here’s the scenerio, video takes place in a bar and fixes himself some Absinthe and is then visited by green fairies? Well, sorta. Take a look for yourself.

Sick new single from Groove Armada which features beautiful guest vocals from SaintSaviour. The single officially drops on November 16th, while the album, Black Light, isn’t slated til February of 2010.

“We’ve worked with a lot of legends,” says Andy Cato talking about their newfound vocalist SaintSaviour. “Now we’ve found one. We’ve done just a couple of ‘Black Light Live’ warm-up gigs with her so far, but already I’m only ever asked one question. Who IS that girl?”

Kitsuné Maison compilation 8 is just around the corner, we received an advanced and maaaaan, this compilation is easily one of the best that I’ve heard from Kitsuné and that’s saying something, cus their compilations are always dope. Here’s a trailer with some of the music on the compilation and in addition you get a look look at the Spring / Summer 2010 collection from “Kitsuné Golf Club”.

Here’s the first video from the Armand Van Helden and A-Trak collaboration, known as Duck Sauce, for the single that’s been out for just over a month or so, “aNYway”. For the video, neither of them make an appearance, but it’s still a dope video, a throwback to the old Motown / Late night variety shows back in the day. The Duck Sauce EP is expected to drop sometime this month, on Fool’s Gold, and if this single is any indication, we can all expect some great dance music.

Fourth video / single, “Little Booty Girl” off of the self-titled album by Thunderheist. The previous videos were “Jerk It”, “Bounce” and “Nothing 2 Step 2″. If you haven’t yet caught these two live, you’re missing out, Isis’s stage energy is INSANE, pretty much impossible not to get into their live show. The latest single sounds a bit like Dead Prez, but there is a connection, as Isis previously worked with M-1 of Dead Prez. Anyways check the latest vid that was directed by George Vale.

New single from Midnight Juggernauts called “This New Technology” just released yesterday and is available on iTunes and will be accompanied by a bunch of remixes of the song as well. The video below is pretty crazy, it’s essentially a kaleidoscope with images barreling at you.

This New Technology’ is an epic journey through time and the afterlife that refuses to travel along the straight and narrow. Instead the track moves through 70s pop to Morricone soundscapes, dark driving toms to lush washed out jams, lo-fi to hi-fo, progrock to krautrock, Eno to ecstasy, the Roses to Rafferty…it’s pop but not as you know it.

Oh you thought just cus The Roots were on Jimmy Fallon’s Late Night Show that they weren’t making any music? WRONG! They’ve spent the majority of the Summer touring and now here’s the latest single / video for the song “How I Got Over” which was directed by the team known as BBGun, Max Bohichik and Alex Bergman, you know, the guys that shot KiD CuDi’s “Day & Nite” remix.
