Strictly Fitteds to me, is the authority of fitted cap news.  So to see a milestone where the online brand is releasing their very own fitted cap is very blog-worthy.  The online mag has teamed up with the well respected, ELM Company for this project which consists of two fitted caps.  The pack consists of a black classic wool blend and a canvas upper with suede brim fitted.  Although colorway may be at a minimal, I love the “SF” logo embroidery and ribbon hit on the back.  The Strictly Fitteds and ELM Company fitteds should be available late November.

Patterns like plaid, tweed herringbone and houndstooth give so much personality to clothing.  So upon seeing Bodega’s glen check tweed 59Fifty, its a no brainer that I need this fitted immediately.  The pattern is complemented with a two tone ‘B’ logo in blue and white.  Finally,  more embroidery can be seen on the back in the form of Bodega’s logo in blue.  For those interested, Bodega’s Glen Check Tweed fitted is available both online and in store now.

The Hundreds are releasing a limited edition version of their Adam Outline New Era fitteds in two colorways. Both of these colorways are exclusive to the The Hundreds San Fran retail location. The cardinal colorway is inspired by Stanford while the blue & gold is paying homage to UC Berkeley. Each fitted is limited to a 100 pieces and students of each respected school that present their student ID will receive a 25% discount on these fitteds.

Here’s a fitted that combines two of my favorite things, plaid and Kidrobot’s Dunny silhouette.  Partially playful, this 59fifty features an all over Kidrobot print on the underbill and a large embroidery of a Dunny.  The inside of the embroidery is filled in with a plaid texture with colors seen throughout the entire cap.  The cap is available now at all Kidrobot locations and online.

The men who worked on the designs for the official logos for Major League and Minor League Baseball teams, Jason and Casey, have been putting forth their effort to a new cap line that provides a bit of a behind-the-scenes look at their creative process. The line, called The Clink Room, uses the New Era fitteds as a template. Each piece is extremely rare in that they’re limited to 150 pieces each and features cork underbill, a pencil icon on the right side just above the ear and tags on each cap that are personally signed. $45.00.

Much like anyone’s first visit to Flight Club, this Christmas colorway fitted will have you doing a thorough investigation.  I can’t stress enough how much I love thick embroidery on fitted caps.  The above Mitchell & Ness fitted features embroidery of the Brooklyn Bridge along the sides, a Mitchell & Ness logo on the back among a few other additions.  Further evidence of the collabo effort can be seen under the bill  with “Flight Club” embroidery.  The Flight Club x Mitchell & Ness fitted cap is available now online and at the individual shops.

We got word from the homie Josh over at Hella Tight that they’re releasing two new hats. The first one is the “Land of The Kings” hat which is actually a collaboration between Hella Tight and U-N-I and pays homage to their latest single “Land of the Kings” as well as the Los Angeles Lakers. Details are that it has a yellow satin undervisor and yellow satin buttons.

The second collaborative project they’re releasing is one with Del The Funky Homosapien and they’ve titled it “Bombay”. The hat is done up in a melton wool, visor and the button are leather while the Hieroglyphics logo is done up in 3M reflective material, again some great detailing here. This one is a fitted where as the previous hat is a snap button style.

Tonal fitteds have always been a good look.  Take for example the “Black Pack” from Mishka.  Coming from Fitted Hawaii, is a tonal black fitted with raised embroidery of Hawaii’s flag.  To further raise the bar, the cap itself is constructed of straw weave, which is more common in fedoras.  The inside is satin lined with Hawaii’s seal and a raised crest can be seen on the backside of the fitted.  Along with the release of this fitted is also a tshirt featuring the slogan, “Hawaii is the new black.”  Look out for this tshirt and fitted pack to drop on Saturday October 24th in store and online.

It was only two Fridays ago that the High Point x Dearly Departed New Era became available.  Due to its popularity, the fitted sold out with the quickness.  Recently, Dearly Departed has teamed up with Quintin and Co. t0 produce a limited run of wool snapbacks.  Much like the High Point x Dearly Deaprted 59Fifty, I am feeling the oversized embroidery and simplicity of this snapback.   Not much info was given on High Point’s blog, but I would imagine another instant sell out.

Recently made available is REBEL8’s ‘Oilskin‘ New Era fitted.  It may be safe to say that REBEL8 is the first to collaborate with New Era on a waterproof oilskin fitted.  Available in grey or hunter green, this fitted includes REBEL8’s tonal insignia on the front and a gold logo and crest on the back.  I think the flannel lining adds another layer of sophistication.  This fitted can be now be copped on REBEL8’s online shop.

Football scarves have been popular among fans of the sport since first appearing in the stadiums of England in the early 1900s.  The trend spread quickly throughout the world and holding scarves up in support of their chosen club is now a tradition with many fans.

The latest sneaker and streetwear boutique to receive their own New Era fitted is High Point based out in Scottsdale, Arizona.  But what’s more unique about this release is High Point’s collaboration with an upcoming brand, Dearly Departed.  What I love about the merger on this fitted is how effortlessly the “D” logo fits in with High Point’s logo.  In terms of colorway, you can’t go wrong with white, silver and gold on a black fitted.  The High Point x Dearly Departed 59Fifty is now available at High Point in a limited run.  And I’m certain they’ll accept phone orders.

It’s been a good minute since I gave the spotlight to Official.  To be precise, its been nearly a year since I posted about the Neu Mesh Shemagh trucker style fitted by Official.  The latest product above is a collaboration between online authority of hats, Hat Club, and Official.  Two colorways are available including a purple, black and white or an All Stars themed snapback with navy, white and red.  Take a look at the gallery below and you’ll notice a grid pattern on the underbill.  Had I bought the Air Max 90 CT’s earlier on this summer, I would’ve gone with the purple, black and white colorway snapback.  But I’m feeling the All Star one for this particular release.  While Hat Club may have more in stock of both colorways at any of their retail shops, Official will only carry 24 of each colorway.

Here is the latest teaser image from Quintin and Co.  As a part of the Fall 09 drop, Quintin will be releasing this red and gray Fitted Five Panel.  Quintin really knows how to leave a first impression.  For this particular cap, Fuwari 3D embroidery is used to produce the raised tennis ball like material logo.  I think its safe to say from previous hits, this five panel will be an instant sellout.  The only question is when in Fall will it arrive at stores?

Here’s a sneak preview to an upcoming dope fitted by Applebum.  We’ve seen everything from soild colored logo, all over sneaker boxes to crocodile print.  The latest textile from Applebum is a myriad of high rise windows finished off with a white chunky “AB” embroidery.  The “Babylon Camo” fitted is further evidence that Applebum truly has the golden touch when it collaborating with New Era.  Expect this to sell out upon release around December.

Ever since Commonwealth had their Play Cloths debut party, Ive been lightly following the brand.  And I’ve also been kicking myself for sleeping on their products.  The mascot, “Jack” goes so well with tees, technical hoodies and all products in between.  Recently, Atlanta Based lifestyle boutique, Wish, linked up with Play Cloths for a collaborative 59Fifty.  Available in two colorways, the fitted shares elements of both brands to include a Wish paper themed underbill, “Jack” on the front, Wish’s “S” logo and both company logos on the back.  The fitted will only be available in-store on September 25th.  You can also count on Pusha-T and Malice popping in for the special occassion.
