The theme for Forever 21’s latest TWIST line is the ballet and as the name states, tutus!
Although a lot of the tutu-esque dresses and skirts are rather short, if worn with opaque tights and the right shoe, the shortness might be passable. A lot of the looks they’ve put together for this line look good [...]
I’m loving all of the casual and cosy looks that Madewell has been putting together for the last few seasons.
Madewell’s current collection features cosy gray cardigans (striped and chunky knit), vests, fitted jeans, long scarves, and a plethora of checkered items.
“Goldstein strips fairy tales of their ‘happily ever after’ ending replacing them with a realistic outcome and addresses current issues.” (Buschlen Mowatt website)
Vancouver-based photographer Dina Goldstein has caused quite a bit of controversy with her Fallen Princesses collection.
The collection features Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Ariel, Belle, Rapunzel, The Princess and the Pea, and Little Red [...]
First off, thank you Anami. Thank you for letting me use flash and go to town with it. I’m sorry if you were seeing spots for the rest of the night.
Second, great show. Although the venue wasn’t packed from wall to wall, the people that were there had enough energy and excitement to fill the [...]
Hitting the world wide web today is Anami Vice’s latest effort, They Made Me Do It. And it’s free for you to download at anamivice.com. As his facebook page states, “Don’t be that guy/girl who missed it.”

I’m not really sure where to start because Metric has left me pretty blown away. They played their last show of their Canadian tour at the exquisite Orpheum theatre in Vancouver last night, to a crowd that was eager to soak up some pretty awesome Canadian talent.
Opening for Metric was [...]
Local Vancouver hip hop artist Anami Vice is back with another album, They Made Me Do It. The album release party is this friday and I had the chance to chat with him briefly about what the album’s about and how he’s trying something new because well…they made him do it.
So tell me, what’s the [...]
Header ads pay off. I was about to close an internet browser when the header ad caught my eye. It was for Mod Cloth.
Mod Cloth sells indie and vintage clothes…and a helluva lot of great things.
In the new arrivals section I found all of the gems in the photo gallery. Imagine the gems you [...]
Well…the show started with a bang. Whether the bang was from opener Foxy Shazam’s sudden first song or the doors being blown off the travelling (freak show) circus tent, I’m not sure. What I do know is that you should lock your doors and hide under your bed. Seriously.
It’s not that I didn’t like opening [...]
