Hyundai recently unveiled an EV crossover concept called the 45 EV at International Motorshow in Frankfurt, Germany. The numerals celebrate 45 years of existence, visible 45 degree angle design cues and more importantly pays homage to its very first concept the Pony Coupe. The exterior has sharp minimal lines (sans the Fibonacci sequence wheels) while the interior sports a modern take on mid-century furnishing. According to Hyundai’s press kit, batteries are strategically placed giving the interior a lot of cabin room. It’s pretty impressive that the seats can swivel to face one another (very akin to luxury RV’s). There’s not a whole lot of details, but between this and the Honda E, I’m loving what the future olds for electric vehicles.
