Back to Vancouver for the first time since his debut album “Under Pressure” dropped late last year to critical acclaim, Logic played to an all ages show on Friday at the Vogue.
The 25 year old Maryland native, who’s given name is Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, was accompanied by DJ Rhetoric who’s opener set the tone for the headliner’s highly anticipated performance. Encouraging crowd participation, spinning old and new hip hop classics, and generally getting the room hype, there was something for everyone to vibe off of.
When Logic took the stage there was a surge of excitement felt through the crowd and the Def Jam signee delivered an energetic, entertaining, and crowd pleasing show.
Looking around the venue there was a jumble of fans in attendance. With four mixed tapes under his belt and an album out in October 2014, Logic gained the respect of his fans for his honest tracks and undeniable lyrical talent, and that respect seems to know no bounds in terms of age, race, or sex.
When XXL named Logic as one of the Freshman of 2013 it definitely set the bar for the young artist, and based on the amount of love from the fans, the close to sold out nation wide tour, andhis raw talent, Logic is an artist to watch out for and a show most certainly worth checking out.
