Although I’m probably going to sound like a broken record, I’m just going to say it again. My love for all things Scandinavian knows no bounds. Whether it’s fashion, the people, the music, or anything remotely Scandinavian, I will probably like it. The Scandinavians have a knack for the clean and the minimal, and it’s something that I really love about them.
Studio Arhoj definitely fits in with the typical Scandinavian aesthetic. The Danish interior design studio is based in Copenhagen, and focuses on the production of ceramics, illustrations, and interior design products. The studio also doubles as a design studio, working on branding, identity, and graphic design for numerous clients. You would think that this is a bit all over the place, but somehow it works.
What I really love is Studio Arhoj’s ceramics. I first noticed the Melting Mug on Goodhood’s website and have since fallen in love with all of their ceramic products. There’s a pretty good range of stuff and they all come in some beautiful glazes and colours. Apart from the Melting Mug, there are circular piggy banks, porcelain containers, cones, and more. And some have cute faces to boot!
Definitely check out Studio Arhoj’s stockists (they have stockists all around the world) if you’re keen on purchasing a piece. I mean, everything is cute, clean, and functional. What more could I ask for?
