Spring has officially sprung, which means it’s time to throw your socks out the window, slip on some flats, and cuff all your pants.
The right cuffed or shortened hemline can make legs looks longer and slimmer. Plus, a casual little roll-of-the-pant just has a certain je ne sais quoi about it. Denim label Rag & Bone have taken the shortened skinny jean one-step further by placing elastics around the ankle and calling it the Pajama Jean. Part slightly-loose skinny jean and part sweat pants, the Pajama Jean is where style and comfort meet.
It might seem like these jeans are overly casual to really be versatile, but a tailored blazer and good pair of heels will change that. Think of these jeans as an extension of last year’s pajama trouser or leather sweatpants trends. The key is to pair the jeans with more tailored, put-together pieces to make it work for casual office days and cocktail hour.
On weekends, I don’t blame you if all you really want to do is slip on a pair of moccasin slippers, and throw on a loose tank and cardigan. And that will still look great.
The Rag & Bone Pajama Jeans are $209.
