Thanks to John Hughes, my favourite back-to-school movies are set in the ‘80s—a time of big hair, neon prints, and not much studying (at least not in the movies).
So when I spotted this “Girls Night” bomber jacket by Reformation for Nasty Gal, it got me pining for my highschool days. And even though September, for me, no longer means hitting the books, that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy dressing the part.
A bomber jacket never goes out of style, and this black one emblazoned with “Girls” on the back is a cheeky nod to the ‘50s (you’d fit right into Grease) . The satin texture gives the jacket a luxe feel, and the shrunken fit keeps it retro and hella sexy.
Throw this over a cropped top, skinny denim, and wedge heels for a total throwback feel. I also love it over a body-con dress for a sporty-meets-glam look.
The Reformation for Nasty Gal bomber jacket is $108 over at Nasty Gal.
