When it comes to summer accessories, I’m an old soul at heart. Whether it’s cat-eye sunnies from the ’50s, round over-sized eyewear from the ’60s, funky disco-worthy lenses from the ’70s, or Wayfarer-style frames made popular in the ’80s, I prefer my sunglasses to channel an era from the past than to look too futuristic.
That’s why I’m drawn to these retro-looking Prada sunglasses. They’ve got a really soft cat-eye shape that is reminiscent of the ’50s, while the silver details bring them up to modern times. The dusty-rose hue with darker rose contrast is close enough to being neutral so that the sunglasses can be paired with most outfits, and the cat-eye frame will pretty much flatter all face shapes.
Even though it’s just the start of summer, these sunglasses are already on sale over at Net-a-Porter from $365 to $182, so cop ’em now and you can spend your summer being pretty in pink.
