Inspired by the handheld projectile shooter, designer Samir Sufi presents the Tea Cup SlingsHOT concept. As the name indicates, the mug’s handle encourages tea drinkers to cock back the tea bag tag like a slingshot. No tea bags will propel forward like an Angry bird, but at least you can squeeze the very last bit of liquid out. Afterwards, tea drinkers can wrap the string around the handle should they want to reserve the bag for a second round of hot water. I’m assuming this is a solution for those that find the spoon pressing technique daunting.
