A few years back, fashion went through a bit of a logo craze. If you had a designer bag, designer wallet—hell, if you had designer kicks—you’d want them to be covered in logos. We’ve chilled out in the past year or so, and now, labels known for its minimalist aesthetic are making it big. Brands like Celine, Comme des Garcons, and A.P.C. appeal to those who appreciate nice, clean design.
That’s probably why this zip-up bi-fold wallet by French house A.P.C. looks so alluring right now. It’s all clean lines and well though-out details. You can cop this wallet in standard black leather, but my eyes are drawn to this beautiful peacock blue version. The leather’s got a pebbled texture, and the gold zipper really pops against the blue. Inside, the wallet’s got six card-holders, a place for bills and a zippered pouch for coins. The only logo on this wallet is the itty-bitty “A.P.C.” name written in gold out front.
