The Weird Beauty project by photographer Alexander Khokhlov and make up artist Valeriya Kutsan is a series of beautifully executed black and white painted face portraits. Working with the contours of each models’ faces, Kutsan has applied paint to create iconic imagery such as the back lace to a corset, an ekg frequency spectrum, a circuit board, keyhole, qr code and much much more. While each of the painted faces are breathtaking in their own way, I can’t help but gravitate towards the technology icons.
